Duke at Maryland

Bet Duke at Maryland

Fourth-ranked Duke visits 22nd-ranked Maryland on Wednesday in a college basketball betting game that can be seen on ESPN. The Blue Devils are in the hunt for a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and a win at Maryland might seal the deal. The Blue Devils have won eight straight overall but they should get a very tough test at Maryland.

Duke is listed as a one-point favorite at SBG Global with a total of 148.

The Blue Devils got 21 points from Kyle Singler and 20 points from Jon Scheyer on Sunday as they beat Virginia 67-49. It was the 14th time this season that Duke has had two players or more score 20 points in a game. Earlier this season Scheyer had 22 points when Duke won 77-56 at home against Maryalnd. Singler is averaging 19.5 points per game in his last eight games while Scheyer leads the ACC in three statistical categories.

Duke can clinch the ACC title with a win on Wednesday while Maryland can tie for the top spot if they win. The game Wednesday will be a big-time college basketball betting game," Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "Plus it’s their senior night, and Vasquez is playing lights out. They’re just playing so well. They’re the epitome of who Gary is. They’re just so tough-minded and good."

Winning on the road in the ACC is something that Duke can do as they have won five straight conference road games. The Blue Devils can not only score but they play defense. They lead the country in three-point defense at 26.7 percent.

Maryland is coming off a double overtime win at Virginia Tech on Saturday. Greivis Vasquez had a career-best 41 points in the win. Maryland leads the ACC in scoring offense, field goal percentage, assists per game and assist to turnover margin.

The Blue Devils are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six games overall. The Terrapins are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games. The Blue Devils are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings between the two teams.

The ‘under’ is 6-1 in the Blue Devils last seven overall. The ‘over’ is 4-1 in the Terrapins last five overall. The ‘over’ is 15-5-1 in the Terrapins last 21 home games. The ‘under’ is 5-0 in the last five meetings between Duke and Maryland.
