I made my first teaser bet today.

I experimented only with a little money
but got a 6 point teaser taking the points
with Minnesota and New Jersey in the NBA.

Anyone here an expert with teasers or like
playing them?

i have had moderate success with teasers and enjoy playing them
my site offers a 2 team ncaa +5 teaser at even $ its like 27 to win 25 on nba-i like to look for home teams favored by 6 or less that i think have a strong chance of just winning outright-the advantage of teasers of course is the extra points the disadvantage is that even if your successful your account will most likley increase slower-so you have to be patient-say you win a teaser and both teams cover then your like damn should have parlayed them-then the next day you like your picks even better and dont tease them and end up losing when the teaser would have won-if one is patient and just sticks with teaser i think money can be made -otherwise just play one once in a while for fun or if u really dont like anyoneon a certain day and just want to bet to test your luck teasers are a good option
today im playing bradley-1/2 and st mary +8 1/2

They are a loser in the long run in Baskets Undefeated77, I would stick to playing them in the NFL only and that's it.

Only play them in the NFL playoffs, when the games matter and the value is huge.

Otherwise, u r a sucker......

Teasers are one of the fastest ways to go broke in sports gambling. People put too much stock in those points and then incorrectly handicap the games.

Plus the juice is a big deterrent as well.

I tell people to avoid these bets at all costs. Risk is not worth the reward IMO.

cash is right always handicap the original line if u dont think they can cover the original line dont bet them -the things that break u r bad handicapping and chasing your money when on a losing streak not teasers
vill +7,pitt -1 1/2

I have known some of the most successful sports bettors in the world over the years and all of them only bet straight wagers.

If you are really trying to make a run at serious money and not just trying to add some more excitement to the games you are watching you have to lay off all these exotic wagers.

Truer words were never spoken. I've not allowed myself to bet parlays this year and I'm having a much better year for it. I do allow my self to indulge in one 12 team parlay a week for $10 just for fun. I've yet to hit the $18,000 jackpot, but who knows.

Bookmakers love to hear " give me a parlay " 😀

One of the reasons 5Dimes is so successful is because they let you parlay everything, they might get spanked now and then but in the long run they are gonna get it all back plus more.
