Ray Allen is expected to play today for the Seattle SuperSonics despite reports earlier this week that bone spurs in his ankle might sideline him for the rest of the season.
"He'll play tomorrow, I think," Sonics coach Bob Hill told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer on Saturday. "He hasn't given me any indication that he's not going to play."
Allen did not play in Thursday's 77-75 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers because of the bone spurs. Seattle was a 6 1/2-point favorite in the game.
As for the Bobcats, Emeka Okafor will not play tonight. The starting power forward has missed the last three games because of a strain in his calf muscle. The Charlotte Observer reports he is expected to miss at least another three games because of the injury.
Charlotte lost all three games without Okafor and went 1-2 against the spread

The Phoenix Suns are expected to have Shawn Marion back today against the Los Angeles Lakers. Marion has missed the Suns last two games because of a dislocated pinky finger.
"I feel much better," Marion told the Phoenix East Valley Tribune yesterday. "I had a few days and some good treatment and I don't want to miss any more games."
Meanwhile the Lakers will not have Lamar Odom for today's game. Odom tore a muscle in his left shoulder against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. Odom will not travel with the team and is out indefinitely.
Odom scored 34 points and grabbed 13 rebounds the last time the Lakers played the Suns. Odom missed 21 games earlier this year with a leg injury and the Lakers went 11-10 ATS.
Gibson out with toe injury

CLEVELAND -- Cavaliers rookie guard Daniel Gibson could miss two weeks with a sprained left big toe.
Gibson, who has provided the Cavs with a spark since replacing Eric Snow at point guard in the starting lineup, initially injured his toe in a Feb. 14 game against Utah. He aggravated it during Thursday's loss in Dallas, the team said Saturday before hosting Toronto.
In 16 starts, Gibson, a second-round draft pick, is averaging 5.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
With Gibson sidelined, the Cavaliers recalled rookie guard Shannon Brown from Albuquerque of the NBA Development League. After being assigned to the Thunderbirds on Friday, Brown had 14 points and six assists in a win over Arkansas.
Larry Hughes (flu) and Damon Jones (back spasms) were listed as questionable for the game against the Raptors.
Lakers F Luke Walton will not play (ankle) in today's game.
