Dallas Mavericks at Orlando Magic

* The Dallas Mavericks shot a season-low 30 percent and scored its fewest points of the season in a 90-67 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Dallas has been held to 90 or fewer in three of the last four games. Sunday's loss dropped the Mavs to 11-12 on the road, and have been completely inconsistent on the road this year. EGDE: MAGIC
* The Orlando Magic have won four straight and are coming off one of theit best offensive games of the season in a 121-115 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. Orlando scored a season high in points in regulation, and their 56 percent shooting was their third-best performance. "We really want to be greedy right now before the All Star break,” according to Dwight Howard. EDGE: MAGIC
* The Magic rank among the top 10 teams in the league at 104 points per game. They have been even better lately, averaging 105 points - winning seven of their last eight games. EDGE: MAGIC

* The Atlanta Hawks have dropped seven of eight, but outscored New Jersey 16-7 on fast-break points in the second half of their last game. The Hawks rank fourth in the league in fast-break points, averaging 17 per game. "When we run, we're at our best," said Josh Smith. Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers

* The Denver Nuggets managed to stay competitive when Carmelo Anthony missed five games with a sprained ankle. In his first game back, Anthony reminded his teammates how much easier life is with him in the lineup. The Nuggets went 3-2 with their All-Star forward on the sidelines, and Denver's offense kicked back into high gear with Anthony’s return and scored 117 points to defeat the Bobocats by 16-points - their biggest margin of victory since beating Milwaukee 125-105 on Dec. 26. EDGE: NUGGETS
* The Portland Trailblazers are one of the league's best home teams, with a 19-5 record that included 12 straight wins from Dec. 6-Jan. 9. Their leading scorer Brandon Roy is averaging 18 points and 7 assists against Denver in 2007-08. EDGE: BLAZERS

* Monday's game opens a tough regular season-ending stretch of games for Louisville that includes games at Providence, Pittsburgh and DePaul and at home against conference-leading Georgetown as well as Syracuse, Notre Dame and Villanova.
