Can you say letdown? Oklahoma State is coming off a huge road win over Kansas last Saturday, 85-80 getting 9.5. The Baylor Bears beat the Cowboys 64-54 when the teams last met Jan. 21 in Waco and they have won eight of the last 12 meetings. Oklahoma State has won three consecutive games since losing to Baylor and is coming off an 85-80 victory at then-No. 1 (now No. 5) Kansas on Saturday. The Bears are second in the Big 12 in scoring (75.8)and rebounding (39.2), and seventh in scoring defense (63.8). Freshman center Isaiah Austin (14.5 ppg) leads the conference in rebounding (9.4) and has eight double-doubles. Junior forward Cory Jefferson (12.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg) has six double-doubles. They each have more double-doubles than six Big 12 teams. Senior guard Pierre Jackson, who leads the Big 12 in scoring (19.1) and assists (5.9), has scored in double figures in 28 consecutive games. He has scored 20 or more in three straight games, totaling 17 assists. The Cowboys are led by freshman Marcus Smart, who matched a career high with 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds while helping end the Big 12-leading Jayhawks' 33-game home win streak and their NCAA-best string of 18 consecutive overall victories. On Jan. 21, Baylor held Oklahoma State to just 34.9 percent shooting and 2-of-16 from three-point range. Expect Baylor, who hasn't lost three straight since the 2010-11 season, to be back on their game against a team coming off their biggest win of the year.
