Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Creighton a 5-point favorite over Oregon for the 2011 CBI title game. The current over/under total is sitting at 142 points.
Creighton advanced to the best-of-three Championship Series games with an 82-64 win over UCF in Omaha. The Blue Jays improved their record to 22-14 on the strength of Gregory Echenique’s 19 points and Antoine Young’s 16 points and 10 assists. Doug McDermott also finished with 16 points while Josh Jones and Kenny Lawson Jr. added 11 points apiece.
In Oregon’s win over Boise State in Eugene, Joevan Catron racked up 24 points and 11 rebounds, while E.J. Singler added 18 points and Garrett Sim finished with 11 points. The Ducks will take on the Ducks tonight at 8:00PM ET for the first game of the best-of-three series.
