ESPN launches its 24 hours of College Basketball tonight with St. Johns taking on St. Mary’s for a 2AM ET tip.
St. Johns is making its debut this season while St. Mary’s is 1-0 on the season with an 86-42 win over Albertson College. There have been no previous meetings between these two teams heading into tonight’s contest.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have made St. Mary’s a 4.5-point favorite against St. Johns. The over/under has been set at 133.5. Here is a look at the trends and my pick for tonight’s game.
St. Johns vs. St. Mary’s, 2AM ET
St. Mary’s is 18-8 against the spread in their last 26 home games and 21-6-1 ATS in their last 28 non-conference games as well.
The under has hit in five of the last six home games for the Gaels and the under has also hit in four of the last five non-conference games for St. Johns.
