DURHAM, NC (TheSpread) – No. 1 Duke looks to stay unbeaten when it opens ACC play against Miami on Sunday night. Here is a breakdown of my pick for this game.
Duke is 12-0 on the season and 7-0 at home while Miami is 11-3 on the year but just 1-2 on the road.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have released their odds for this game and made Duke an 18.5-point favorite at home against Miami. The over/under has been set at 150 points. Here is a look at the trends and my pick for tonight’s game.
Miami vs. Duke, 7:45PM ET
Miami is 3-0-2 against the spread in their last 5 games against Duke and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games at Duke. The over has hit in the last eight games between these two teams. Duke has won eight games this year by more than 19 points, but my pick is with Miami to cover as conference play is always competitive and 18.5 points is a lot to cover. Miami is not as bad as many would think, and I like the Hurricanes to stay relatively close to the Blue Devils.
