Virginia Tech is 17-8 on the season and 3-5 on the road while Wake Forest is 8-19 overall and 7-9 at home. Virginia Tech is 7-5 in ACC play while Wake Forest is just 1-11.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have released their odds for this game and made Virginia Tech a 14-point favorite at Wake Forest. The over/under has been set at 144.5 points. Here is a look at the trends and my pick for tonight’s game.
Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest, 7PM ET (View Matchup)
The Hokies are 5-1 against the spread in the last 6 meetings with Wake Forest but just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite. My pick is with the Demon Deacons as Virginia Tech -14 is just too many points for me, especially on the road. I look for Wake Forest to keep it close and cover the spread.
