AUSTIN, TX (TheSpread) – The battle of Texas takes place in college basketball on Wednesday as No. 10 Texas hosts No. 11 Texas A&M. Here is a breakdown of my pick for this game.
View Current College Basketball Odds
Texas is 14-3 on the season and 10-1 at home while Texas A&M is 16-1 on the year and 2-0 on the road. Both teams are unbeaten in Big 12 Conference play.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have released their odds for this game and made Texas a 7-point favorite at home for this game. The over/under has been set at 131 points. Here is a look at the trends and my pick for tonight’s game.
Texas A&M vs. Texas, 9PM ET
Texas A&M has covered the spread in 12 of the last 16 games with Texas while the Aggies have covered in 12 of their last 15 conference games. Texas is just 6-20-1 ATS in their last 27 games against Big 12 opponents. My pick for this game is Texas A&M on the road with the points as they have to feel slightly disrespected. They have the better record yet are ranked worse and a sizeable underdog. I like the Aggies to come out with some fire and play Texas down to the wire.
