College Hoops Kentucky vs. Texas A&M Picks & Predictions

No. 14 Kentucky will be favored tonight at 6:30PM ET when it visits Texas A&M but the Aggies have been a thorn in the Wildcats' side.
ESPN will air this SEC showdown tonight and according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.Iv, Kentucky is a 1-point road favorite over A&M. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 143.5 points.
The Wildcats have been on a roll lately, winning seven of their last 10 and covering the spread in six of those games during that span. It's been the opposite for the Aggies, who are just 5-5 in their last 10 games and 4-6 against the spread in that stretch.
Prediction
Despite the Aggies' struggles of late, there's value in taking A&M tonight against UK. For starters, the Aggies are 14-1 at home this season and ranks No. 25 in the RPI. Last year A&M also took Kentucky to overtime and covered easily as a 14.5-point underdog in a 70-64 loss. In fact, the Aggies have covered in three of their last four games versus the Wildcats dating back to 2013.
For as hot as they are, the Wildcats are just 5-12-1 against the spread in their last 18 road games. That number includes a 3-5 ATS mark in which Kentucky has won by an average margin of just 1.4 points. So as good as the Wildcats have been at home, they've been vulnerable on the road.
