The Washington Wizards look to keep the Detroit Pistons from going over the .500 mark when they meet tonight at 7PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Washington is the slight favorite at home tonight, as the Wizards are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Pistons. The over/under total for the game has been set at 209 points.
Detroit is 27-27 overall, 11-17 on the road and 27-26-1 against the spread. Washington is 24-28 overall, 12-16 at home and 27-25 against the spread. Washington has won the last two meetings with Detroit, including the lone meeting this season. The Wizards also covered in the win. The Pistons are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five while Washington has covered in four of its last five.
Washington gets a lift from adding Markieff Morris to the fold from Phoenix. He might play some tonight, but Detroit added several new players including Tobias Harris and Donatas Montiejunas along with Marcus Thornton. Even if they play, they'll have chemistry issues on the club. Detroit has struggled lately, losing three straight and four of five. That struggle will continue.
