Duke vs. North Carolina – College Basketball Picks and Predictions

Duke finds itself as an underdog against rival North Carolina tonight. Will the Blue Devils rise to the occasion and get by the Heels?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, North Carolina is currently listed as a 6.5-point favorite against home against Duke. The over/under total for the game is at 162.5 points. These two meet tonight at 9PM ET on ESPN.
Duke is 19-6 overall, 8-4 in the ACC, 4-2 on the road and 11-12-1 against the spread. North Carolina is 21-4 overall, 10-2 in the ACC, 13-0 at home and 10-14-1 against the spread. These two have yet to meet this season, but the road team is 7-2 against the spread in the last nine meetings and the two have hit the over in three straight encounters.
Duke seems to have found a spark, as the Blue Devils have won their last four games. Now they find themselves as an underdog against their rival, North Carolina. The Tar Heels are just 4-8 against the spread in ACC play, as they haven’t been able to really destroy teams. Duke is also strong as an underdog, going 7-3 ATS since 2013. With new-found confidence, look for Duke to give UNC all it can handle tonight.
