My data sees the Jets winning in more than 70 percent of simulations Thursday, making them worth laying the price against the Avalanche. The favorite has won four on a row in this series, while the Avalanche are on a 3-13 spurt as an underdog.

The trusty projection model tells me the Knicks and Hawks will put up at least 234 points Thursday, crushing the Over with room to spare. I've got the Over hitting in nearly 70 percent of simulations. The Over is on a 13-6 run in the series and we should see another one hit Thursday.

The Thunder are red hot heading into the break having won 11 of their last 12 games. During that stretch, they had big wins over the Sixers, Bucks, Rockets and Blazers (twice). They are 17-12 ATS on the road, so I'll take them to cover against a Pelicans team that is a mess right now since not trading Anthony Davis at the deadline.

When these two teams met earlier this season Northern Arizona beat Portland State 82-75. Northern Arizona benefitted in that game from shooting 8/19 from three-point land, and I would bet the Lumberjacks don't do so well this time around, but even if they don't, there's still plenty of value on them here against a Portland State team that's proven to be one of the worst shooting teams and turnover prone in conference play this season.

The Knicks have lost 18 in a row, which is simply unbelievable. But since the trade deadline, they've at least been competitive. Three of their four defeats were by seven points or less and last night they hung with the 76ers before running out of gas. Meanwhile, Trae Young is garnering headlines in Atlanta, but the Hawks had lost three in a row at home before shocking the struggling Lakers. This is the fourth time Atlanta has been favored all season -- they lost all three other instances straight-up, by 19, 3 and 12 points. The Hawks are just 9-16 at home and, while the Knicks are bad everywhere, they've been better on the road.

OKC has won 11 of 12, and it's pounding lesser competition, going 6-0 against sub-.500 teams with an average margin of victory of 15.2. The Pelicans haven't managed more than 90 points their last two games in bad losses to the Grizzlies and Magic. New Orleans gave Oklahoma City a game on Jan 23, losing by six without Anthony Davis. But the Pels are in disarray and the Thunder have too much talent not to take advantage.

The Magic have won six of seven, while the Hornets are on a big slide -- they haven't beaten a team anywhere near .500 in 13 games. That said, these teams have met twice this season, and neither game was close. Charlotte won in Orlando by 32 and at home by 25. The Hornets have handled the Magic 13 times in a row, including six straight in Orlando. Sometimes, one team just has the other's number.

The Hornets shot a season-worst 32.2 percent last time out. This is a matchup that they typcially thrive in, having beaten Orlando 13 straight times. Grab the points as Charlotte bounces back.

Anthony Davis said the Pelicans didn't seem interested last time out, a 30-point loss to the Magic. It won't get easier against the surging Thunder. Back OKC to cover its fifth straight.

Love the Thunder here since they are strong on the road sitting at 17-12 ATS away from home this season and they have covered 7 of their last 8 games overall. The Pelicans are under .500 at home against the number and they are in a messy situation right now with their star player wanting a trade. Ok City will want to keep their momentum rolling while New Orleans will be more interested in getting to the break. Lay this number with Oklahoma City here.
