Play on: OVER 6½ +104
Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach NHL Game #69 Monday Free Pick OVER the total in Toronto Maple Leafs vs Buffalo Sabres @ 7:05 ET - The over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between these divisional foes. The Maple Leafs have won 5 of their last 6 home games and have scored an average of 4.7 goals per game in those 6 contests. The Sabres have allowed an average of 3.7 goals per game in their last 9 road games. Only 3 of those 9 Buffalo road games resulted in an under. Toronto is 7 for 20 on the power play in their last 6 games. The Leafs have allowed 3 power play goals on 10 chances for their opponents in their last 3 games. The Sabres are off a big 5-2 win over the Stanley Cup Champion Capitals and I look for the over to improve to 5-2 the last 7 times Buffalo is off a win. As for the Maple Leafs, only 6 of their 19 divisional games this season have resulted in an under. Free Pick OVER the total in Toronto

Play on: Pistons -2½ -110 at 5dimes
Play - Detroit Pistons (Game 564).
Edges - Pistons: Host in this series is 6-1 ATS … Pacers: 1-4 ATS away in division games this season … With the Pistons looking to avenge a 37-point loss suffered at Indiana two months ago, and the Pacers off a revenge win over Washington, we recommend a 1* play on Detroit. Thank you and good luck as always.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Detroit Pistons -2
The Detroit Pistons are playing too well right now to only be 2-point home favorites over the Indiana Pacers. They are 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall with their only loss coming on the road at Boston. The home team has had a big advantage recently in this series, going 6-1 SU & 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Pistons have won their last two home meetings with the Pacers by 24 and 17 points. Indiana is 3-8 ATS in its lsat 11 road games. The Pacers are 1-9 ATS after scoring 110 points or more in two straight games this season. Detroit is 20-7 ATS in its last 27 home games when playing 6 or fewer games in 14 days. Give me the Pistons.

NBA | Blazers vs Cavs
Play on: OVER 222 -111
1* Free NBA Pick on Cavs/Blazers OVER 222
These two teams should have no problem cashing the OVER, as I feel we are getting a great price due to the perception of the Cavs offense. Cleveland comes in averaging just 103.2 ppg, but are putting up 111.8 ppg over their last 5. Their surge is no fluke, it's a direct result of the return of Kevin Love, who is coming off a 32-point performance last time out.
I think they hit that 5 game average and then some, as the Blazers will be playing their 3rd straight on the road. This is also feels like a trap game for Portland, as they just pulled off two big wins at Brooklyn and Philadelphia and have two even bigger games on deck at Boston and at Toronto. Blazers are also giving up 113 ppg on 47% shooting on the road this season.
OVER is 23-11 in Portland's last 34 road games after playing their previous 2 on the road, 9-1 in their last 10 when playing on 1 day of rest and 4-0 in their last 4 vs a team that's won fewer than 40% of their games. Take the OVER!

NBA | Pacers vs Pistons
Play on: Pistons -2½ -108 at Pinnacle
Indiana has won 8 of their L/9 overall and Detroit has won 6 of their L/7. both sides are currently playing at about the same level, with home court advantage being the difference maker.
Indiana blew out Detroit 125-88 in their first meeting on Dec. 28 and now with revenge on board Im betting on this hard working Motown crew to get their revenge.
INDIANA is 1-9 ATS after scoring 110 points or more 2 straight games this season
The Pacers are 1-13 ATS/SU on the road when the line is within 3 of pick off a win as a favorite facing an opponent averaging less than 4 blocks per game. The Pacers are 2-16 ATS /1-17 SU as a dog with rest after they shot over 50% from the field.
The Pistons are 13-0 ATS /SU as a favorite with rest after a game as a road dog in which a game that was tied 5+ times.
NBA Home favorites vs. the money line (DETROIT) - average 3PT shooting team (33-36.5%) against an average 3PT defense (33-36.5%) after 42+ games, good ball handling team (14.5 or less TO) vs. an average pressure defense (14.5-16.5 TO) after 42+ games are 109-28 L/5 seasons for a 80% conversion rate for bettors with the point differential clicking in at +7.7 ppg.

#NBA FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN
The San Antonio Spurs took a 130-118 beating by the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden yesterday.
That marked the 12th time in Spurs last 13 games the score went over the total, and I think that will be the case once again here at Brooklyn Monday night.
Over is 14-2 in Spurs last 16 games playing on zero days rest and 12-3-1 in their last 16 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game.
The Nets are coming off a 117-115 triumph at Charlotte and five of their last six overall have gone over the total.
Free pick on OVER.

NBA | Suns vs Heat
Play on: Heat -8½ -110 at Pinnacle
10* FREE NBA PICK (Heat -8.5)
I'll take my chances here with Miami covering the big number at home against the Suns. Considering the Heat just lost outright 119-96 at home to the Pistons as a 3.5-point favorite, I don't think we are going to see a ton of people rushing to place a bet on Miami in this one, so I'm not too concerned with this being a public side.
With that said, I think this is the perfect spot to jump on the Heat. This is the definition of a bounce back game and one that Miami desperately needs to win with the Warriors coming to town on Wednesday followed by a game at Houston on Thursday. Heat don't show up here they are staring at a 5-game skid out of the break.
Phoenix is coming off a 8-point loss at Atlanta, which is the closest they have come to winning a game in February since losing by just 6 to the Hawks at home on Feb. 2nd. Suns haven't won a game since Jan. 12. Not only will that streak stay alive, but I'm confident Miami wins here by double-digits. Give me the Heat -8.5!

NBA | Spurs vs Nets
Play on: Nets -1½ -107 at BetOnline
Jack’s Free Pick Monday: Brooklyn Nets -1.5
The Brooklyn Nets are 23-12 SU & 23-12 ATS in their last 35 games overall. They have been one of the most underrated teams in the NBA this season. And now they are as healthy as they’ve been all year heading into this game with the San Antonio Spurs tonight.
I love the spot for the Nets. They want revenge from a 114-117 loss as 8-point dogs at San Antonio on January 31st in their first meeting this season. And the Nets had yesterday off, while the Spurs will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back after an ugly 118-130 loss to the New York Knicks, who ended their 18-game home losing streak.
The Spurs just aren’t playing well at all right now. They are 4-6 SU & 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Their four wins have come by 2, 3, 5 and 1 points over the likes of Phoenix, Brooklyn, New Orleans and Memphis. Five of their six losses have come by 9 points or more.
San Antonio is 1-8 ATS after a combined score of 245 points or more this season. Brooklyn is 17-6 ATS when playing 4 or less games in 10 days this season. The Nets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven vs. Western Conference opponents. Bet the Nets Monday.

Play on: Lakers -5 -102 at Pinnacle
Dave’s Monday Free Play:
1* on Los Angeles Lakers -5
The Key: The Lakers came out of the break with an impressive upset win over the Rockets. But then they fell flat on their face in an upset road loss at New Orleans. Expect them to come back hungry tonight against the Grizzlies. They can’t afford to lose to teams like Memphis if they want to make the playoffs. The Grizzlies haven’t been giving much effort and are short-handed right now playing without Jaren Jackson Jr. and Kyle Anderson. They are 0-4 SU & 1-3 ATS in their last 4 games overall and are not playing well since returning from the All-Star Break. The Grizzlies are 10-24 ATS in their last 34 games overall. The Lakers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Take Los Angeles.

NBA | Kings vs Wolves
Play on: Kings +3 -103 at Pinnacle
Kings
The Sacramento Kings try to take the next step toward their first playoff berth since 2005-06 when they conclude a four-game road trip Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sacramento began the trek by playing the top three teams in the conference, losing by two points at Denver on Wednesday and Golden State on Thursday before upending Oklahoma City 119-116 on Saturday.
The Kings are one game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West while Minnesota is three games behind Sacramento after a 140-128 loss at Milwaukee on Saturday. The Timberwolves have been without All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns (23.1 points, 12.0 rebounds per game), who missed his second straight contest Saturday (concussion protocol) after a car accident Thursday.
Kings are 36-15 ATS in their last 51 games playing on 1 days rest and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.
I like the Kings on the road.

NBA | 76ers vs Pelicans
Play on: 76ers +1½ -103 at Pinnacle
My 1* Free Play is on the Philadelphia 76ers.
Joel Embiid won’t be playing for Philadelphia today, but I still think that the motivated visiting side will find a way to get the job done here against the Pelicans.
Philadelphia’s two game win streak came to an end vs. a red hot Blazers team last time out. The 76ers certainly won’t be lacking for motivation tonight as they’re in a tight race right now, sitting six games behind the Raptors, while holding a slim one game lead over the Celtics for top spot in the East.
Overall the 76ers average 115.7 PPG, while allowing 112.3.
New Orleans was without big man Anthony Davis in its win over the Lakers most recently and while Davis is expected back in the line-up tonight, I still don’t think it will matter vs. this deep and talented visiting side. The Pelicans average 115.7 PPG and they concede 115.
I’ll point out as well that the 76ers are a money-making 4-1 ATS in their last five off an upset loss by ten points or more as a favorite.
The Pelicans on the other hand are already a poor 6-8 ATS this season as a home favorite of six points or less.
There’s a small upset a brewin’ in the Big Easy Monday night. Consider Philadelphia in this one.
Good luck…Larry

Dallas was on the playoff bubble before they made moves at the trading deadline and jettisoned starters Harrison Barnes, DeAnndre Jordan, Dennis Smith Jr and Westley Mathews and are just 1-5 since. Still, the Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings...take DALLAS!

Portland is now on game three of seven away from Rip City, and so far so good as the Blazers have recorded double-digit wins and covers at both Brooklyn and Philadelphia as they head into Cleveland for this Monday night game against the 14 win Cavaliers who are actually on a 3-1 straight up and against the spread run over their last 4 games, including back-to-back home wins over Phoenix and Memphis coming out of the break. Portland did pick up a home win over Golden State before embarking on this long road trek, as they have won 3 straight overall heading into this road clash.
True, the Blazers have bigger dates on the horizon, as their next pair of stops are in Boston and Toronto - two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference - but I still think they will take care of matters in this spot on Monday.
Portland is averaging just under 114 points per game, while Cleveland is allowing just over 113 points per game for the year. That fact suggests to me that it will be the Blazers who dictate the pace of this game tonight, and the fact of the matter is Portland may well be looking at back-to-back losses in Boston and Toronto on the horizon, so while the Cavs have a little wind in their sails right now, the Cavaliers have only gone 14-17 on their home court this season against the spread.
No need to look over past history here, as we all know that with LeBron James now wearing a Lakers uniform, there is no barometer for this year's series showdowns, except for what has happened this year. What has happened this year? Portland was a 129-112 winner back on January 16th at home as the -13 1/2 point favorite. Yes, the line is not far off the line that the Trail Blazers laid when they played in the Pacific Northwest, but wins over the Suns and the Grizzlies - two teams that will not be playing postseason hoops - are a far cry from beating back, or even staying close come crunch time against the 36-23 Blazers who are currently residing in the 4th slot of the competitive West standings.
This line seems like a "sucker's line" to me, as I am sure most folks are aware that Portland is now logging their third straight away, but I am not at all buying into this recent Cavs win streak.
Go ahead and lay it here with Portland.

My free play for tonight is on the Iowa State Cyclones over the Oklahoma Sooners.
To reiterate from Saturday, the bottom line with Iowa State is it needs to bounce back from back-to-back losses, after losing to Baylor and TCU.
Tuesday's loss to Baylor might have been as big an embarrassment as the team has had all season, but then to lose a heartbreaking game to TCU on Saturday just added salt to the wound.
Iowa State is a smart enough team to improve and bounce back from the mistakes it made on Tuesday against Baylor and Saturday at Fort Worth.
The 'Clones will be back home, and should be fired up from the home crowd in an arena we've seen them go 11-3 this season. Iowa State scores 80.1 points per game at home, and that's trouble for Oklahoma, which has scored an average of just 64.2 in its last five.
Lay the home chalk.
4* IOWA STATE

The Maple Leafs were able to end a hurtful 3 game losing streak that has dropped them to third place in the Atlantic Division at 78 points. That 3 points behind Boston, but still in a solid playoff standing spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Sabres still find themselves 6 points out of the 2nd Wild Card spot even though they got themselves righted for the time being with their 5-2 home win over Washington their last time on ice, but the fact remains the Sabres have lost 4 straight and 9 of their last 10 away from home.
Toronto has won all 3 series meetings this year, and although 2 of the 3 have come by just a goal, the one win that went in the books at 5-3 did come on Maple Leafs ice back in September. Overall, the Leafs have claimed the win in 8 of the last 10 series meetings, with 3 of the 4 in that span played in Canada coming by 2 goals or better.
With Buffalo having such a hard time staying competitive on the road, I will look for Toronto - now settled in and playing their 3rd straight on home ice after 6 in a row on the road - to get themselves a comfortable 2 goal win over Buffalo this Monday night.
Maple Leafs on the Puck Line the call.
3* TORONTO -1 1/2 GOALS
Scott Delaney
My free play for tonight is on the Toronto Maple Leafs on the Puck Line, against the Buffalo Sabres.
The Leafs snapped their three-game skid with a 6-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, and will play their third straight at home during this four-game homestand.
Toronto, which is 22-12-3 against the Eastern Conference and 10-6-3 against Atlantic Division opponents this season, looked fantastic on Saturday, getting back into an offensive groove with a unit that is tied for 12th in the league for goals scored since the calendar flip to 2019.
Frederik Andersen, who is one win from 100 wins as a Maple Leaf, is expected to be in net tonight, which is why the line is so high. It's also the reason I'm going to lay the puck line with the Leafs.
Andersen is 6-2-1 in his last nine starts with a 2.67 goals against average.
The Sabres, who are 12-8-3 all-time on February 25, are 8-11-2 since Jan. 1, and 4-5-2 this month. They're also 11-15-4 on the road, and 3-9-1 with their last 13 on the road.
I like Toronto big here.

My free winner for tonight is on the Colorado Avalanche over the Florida Panthers.
Less than two weeks ago, it was more than expected the Colorado Avalanche might be sellers today, nearing the NHL Trade Deadline, looking for draft picks for this summer's draft.
Instead, looking much like the team that opened this campaign 17-7-5 while perched atop the Western Conference, the Avalanche are thinking about the postseason after scoring wins over Winnipeg, Nashville and Vegas, the latter two being shutout wins over the last two Western Conference champions.
The Avalanche, who have scored 20 goals during their four-game winning streak, are playing some of their best hockey, and should be prepared against the Florida Panthers.
If the Panthers were playing like they were in early January, I'd be more worried. They lost seven straight then, and Colorado might look past them. Instead, Florida arrives on a 4-1 win streak, so the Avalanche will have their eyes wide open for this game.
Take the Avalanche here.
3* AVALANCHE
