Bruce Marshall

Kings / Pelicans Under 211

The Kings won and covered first two meetings with the Pelicans this season thanks in large part to Boogie Cousins' contributions (28 ppg, 9 rpg, 5.5 apg and 53%). Now Cousins is on the other side. Note Sacto has not scored more than 102 points in its last seven games, and only 91 ppg last three, so "under" worth a look.

SAN ANTONIO (-2) over Oklahoma City

We have been cashing FREE WINNERS all week by being contrarians but tonight play the tried and true formula of playing on San Antonio after an outright loss. Spurs have covered 72% of the time over the last 3 years after an outright loss and the favorite has dominated this series with Oklahoma City covering 24 of the last 34 match-ups. Pop and the boys take out their frustrations on OKC. Spurs

Buster Sports

Philadelphia at Cleveland
Play: Philadelphia +10

The World Champs don't look so good of late as they suffered their 3rd loss in a row at the hands of the Chicago Bulls last night. Now they head back home to play the 76ers who really have had a great year for 76er standards. This is a good young team that continues to play hard down the stretch, even with the injuries pilling up for the 76ers. We see the Cavs getting the win tonight but having to cover the 10 points at the time of this writing might be too much to ask. Backing our selection is the fact that the 76ers are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and the fact that the Underdog is 8-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings between the clubs.

The Prez

Indiana Pacers at Toronto Raptors
Play: Toronto Raptors -5.5

Offensively the Toronto Raptors have found their form and will prove to be too much for the Indiana Pacers tonight in Air Canada Centre.

Consider that the Raptors All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, has found his playoff mojo, averaging 33 points per game while shooting over 50 percent from the field. The aforementioned numbers come over the franchises last five games in which DeRozan has also played some point guard duty and has dished out six assists per tilt.

These two played for the first time this season just 12 days ago at the Air Canada Centre, and Toronto crushed Indiana's spirit. The Raptors have won 9 of the last 10 on their home floor against Indiana covering seven of those meetings

The Raptors have a large edge in the backcourt and the paint and the last time these two teams met Toronto outrebounded Indiana 51-33 while routing the Pacers by a 116-91 margin.

Nuggets at Hornets
Play: Under 220

The Denver Nuggets have melted down the Association regular season stretch with four failures in their last six tests. The Nuggets, have for not better term, played their way out of the No #8 slot in the Western Conference postseason race, and now trail the Portland Trail Blazers by a game-and-a-half for the final spot in the postseason picture.

The Charlotte Hornets are three games out of the eight seed in the Eastern Conference and have three franchises in their way with eight games to play.

Tonight's event in Carolina is the second of a five-game trip for the Nuggets, who then head back to altitude for two at home before finishing the regular season with road tilts at Dallas and Oklahoma City.

The Hornets close the regular season slate against seven opponents all either currently in the playoff picture or less than two games outside of the eighth seed.

Neither of these two pedestrian clubs have much hope to be included in the postseason schedule but both continue to play with passion. The Nuggets have returned F Danilo Gallinari back to active duty after missing a large part of the past month to injury. Denver has eight players who are major contributors offensively but have allowed 116 points per game over the last six games.

The Hornets have become more defensively focused but rely far too much on shooting for a high percentage beyond the three-point line.

The UNDER the TOTAL in this series is 11- 1 lover the last 12 events dating back to 2010 and with both teams still hosting the hope of a playoff spot defense becomes the focus.
