Marquette vs. North Carolina
Play: Marquette +5
Yea, I know the Big East has been the Big Dance major disappointment, well, to some. Realize that four Big East teams were taken out in head-to-head play. Tonight's entree is Marquette (22-14), a No. 11 seed takes a shot at No. 2 seed North Carolina (28-7) who have just gotten better each game until it took them here. The Tar Heels have failed to cover in their last five and six of seven.

Taking the Jayhawks here. Kansas is good people. I would feel comfortable putting this out if it was 15.5 we were laying. Kansas with 2 losses on the year. They ran into a Texas buzz-saw, then lost on ESPN while visiting hated inter-state rival Kansas State. I don't see Kansas blowing a 12 point half-time lead and shooting 36% and allow Richmond to score 51 points in the second half like in their loss to Texas. Richmond had a great year. They have senior leadership. But they do not have the size or horses to run here with the big dogs. Morris twins inside will control the boards and the Kansas guards will get plenty of open looks from 3. Rock Chalk Jayhawk.. KU by 20.
4* VCU +4
Taking VCU here. We have played on this team several times during the year. Like their press defense and they have a ton of heart. VCU has flat out dominated teams in going a perfect 3-0 this tourney. Not taking away anything from FSU. I had ND as a monster 10* vs them last weekend, but this VCU team is vastly different from Texas A&M and ND. Both those teams plod around and live out near the 3pt arc. VCU wants to mount up and push it. FSU is a top flight defensive unit no doubt. But this VCU team is playing with a huge chip on its shoulder.
