Southern Illinois applied to a 42-12 ATS conference tournament situation last night and managed to beat Illinois State by 3 points, but the Salukis are just 1-9-1 ATS after a win this season and they’ve covered in just 3 of their last 17 games overall. My ratings favor Missouri State by 12 points and the Bears apply to a 61-18-4 ATS conference tournament situation. The Bears won their two meetings with Southern Illinois by 13 points and by 18 points and I see another easy win for them here. I’ll take Missouri State in a 3-Star Best Bet at -11 or less and for 2-Stars at -11½ or -12 points.

Northern Iowa is just 2-6 straight up and 1-7 ATS without injured big man Marcus O’Rear, who is an efficient scoring (56% FG) and a very good interior defender. Northern Iowa has allowed 50.4% shooting in 8 games without O’Rear and I favor Creighton by 6 ½ points using those 8 games for the Panthers. I’ll take Creighton in a 2-Star Best Bet at -2 or better.

Miami might be shell-shocked after blowing a gigantic lead and losing their big Florida showdown with Orlando last night. Off of a loss this year, the Heat are a poor proposition standing 4-12 against the spread. They are 2-8 outright in the last 10 meetings with the Spurs, while San Antonio over the years has been a horror show for the Heat as they are only 1-11 on this floor the past 12 games. The Spurs go 28-2 straight up at home this season.
