MR EAST
NBA MONDAY UNDER THE RADAR
MINNESOTA @ SAN ANTONIO
3 UNITS: MINNESOTA +14
The Minnesota Timberwolves have been the worst team in the NBA over their last 29 games where they have posted a dreadful 2-27 mark. That kames them a huge underdog in this one, and the pointspread is a great equalizer, especially when you get into the rarified air of +13 or more, and the Wolves, as bad as they are, are money in this spot. Last year they responded to the big numbers well, as they were 5-2 ATS when taking 13 or more, and this year no different at 10-5 ATS. That is a 16-7 ATS mark in the last 2 years taking 13+. The Spurs can finish no better than 6th in the NBA West, and will be in the playoffs, and I don't see them spending a full amount of energy here. I'll go with Minnesota in this one.

Rockets at Kings
Pick: Kings -1.5
Kings have had a poor home stand here, their last loss an 18 point blow out by the Mavs. This is their final game in Arco before finishing in Staples against the Lakers. The Rockets were on a 3 game roll before blowing and late lead versus the Suns last night before falling by 10. Rockets should be emotionally down here while the Kings should look to close out strong with their very young group of players. Take the Kings here as they get the best of the Rockets.
