Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

10* Memphis +2

For a number of different reasons I believe the value in this contest is on the home side:

Orlando is 21-16-1 ATS, including 9-14-1 ATS on the road; last night they beat Cleveland in front of the home town crowd 103-87, failing to cover as an 18-point favorite.

Note that Orlando is 1-5 ATS as a road favorite of 3-points or less this season.

On the other side of the court: The Grizzlies are 29-18-1 ATS this year, including 13-7-1 ATS in front of the home town crowd; Memphis won its second game in a row 107-93 over Washington on Saturday as a 9-point favorite.

This is a spot that Memphis has dominated in all year long; 17-6 ATS as an underdog; 18-9 ATS revenging a loss vs. an opponent; 15-7 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record; 16-8 ATS vs. good offensive teams that score 99-plus points per contest.

Bottom line: It's been a good month for Memphis and it has a shot at moving over .500 tonight with a win; "We have to keep winning," Marc Gasol said. "We have to keep working. It always can be better, but of course, it could be worse. We just have to travel forward and keep getting better."

Not only does Memphis come into this contest rested, facing a Magic team playing the second game of a back to back, but it also plays with "revenge" after setting season lows for points and shooting % in a disappointing 89-72 loss in Orlando on November 15th.

However note that the Grizzlies have won seven of eight at home over the Magic; holding Orlando to just 89.6 points in that span.

Overwhelming factors working in favor of the home side; 10* NON-CONFERENCE "RABID-DOG" on the MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES!
