INDIANA STATE (-8½) over Southern Illinois
Indiana State has covered the spread in 5 consecutive conference games and the underrated Sycamores take on a Southern Illinois team that is just 6-19-2 ATS for the season and has covered in only 2 of their last 15 games. Indiana State will be without G/F Carl Richard, but I don’t think Richard’s 41.9% shooting will be missed much and my ratings favor the Sycamores by 13 points – so there is still line value even if Richards is worth a point or two (which I doubt he is).
HOFSTRA (-7½) over Delaware
Delaware is coming off an 80-70 win over Towson but the Blue Hens are just 13-29-1 ATS after a victory in 5 seasons under coach Monte Ross, including 2-18-1 ATS in their last 21 games following a conference win (1-5 ATS this season). My ratings favor Hofstra by 8 points, so the line is fair, and I’ll lean with The Pride minus the points.
Wake Forest (+20½) over CLEMSON
Clemson is coming off a win at Miami and the Tigers apply to a 46-113-2 ATS big home favorite letdown situation today against lowly Wake Forest. My ratings favor Clemson by 21½ points and I’ll lean with the Demon Deacons at +20 or more based on the strong situation. I’d take Wake Forest in a 2-Star Best Bet at +21 or more.
