King Creole

3* USC -7

Both of these PAC 10 teams enter Saturday's contest on a 2-game losing streak in Conference play. Sharp players already know that we'll be enjoying big-time stat advantages for the TROJANS in offensive FG%... defensive FG%... Rebounding... Turnover ratio... and Free Throw percentages (so we can SHUT DOWN the 'back door'). USC's defensive FG% at home (only 34.5%) is ranked #1 in the Pac 10 Conference. This is a series in which the HOST tends to dominate (Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings and 7-1 ATS in the last 8).

In this season's earlier meeting, the Trojans lost on the road the the Beavers by a scorer of 51-45 back on Jan. 28th. So our host plays with the ultimate in motivation...
16-5 ATS this season: All Conference home teams playing with 'SSR1' (same-season single REVENGE) and off a SU and ATS loss (USC)... versus an opponent off BB SU losses. If our host lost their last game by DOUBLE-DIGITS or more (USC). the numbers improve to 12-3 ATS. And if our host is on a 2-game losing streak (USC), the numbers improve to a perfect 6-0 ATS.

The Trojans laid -10 points in that home loss to Oregon on Thursday night... and were SHOCKED by a final score of 54 to 44. This System goes all the way back to the beginning our College database (1990).
15-3 ATS: All Conference favorites playing off a SU Conference home loss of 10 or more points in which they were a favorite of -10 or greater (USC).
Take your pick for 'tighteners':

6-0 ATS for teams off BB SU losses (USC)....
or 4-0 ATS for home teams vs any opponent off BB SU losses (Oregon State).

Now let's take a look at some 'PAC 10-specific' Systems...
6-0 ATS last 4 years: all PAC 10 favorites of 5 > points playing with 'SSR1'... and off a SU favorite loss (USC).

8-1 ATS Last 5 years: All PAC 10 home teams playing with 'SSR1' against the Oregon State Beavers (USC).

The Beavers are wrapping up their 2-game Southern California 'road trip'. This includes a trip to UCLA to play the Bruins... and a trip to USC to play the Trojans.
When these teams got spanked by UCLA, we also want to fade em against the Trojans.

2-12 ATS since 2004: All PAC 10 teams on the ROAD vs the USC TROJANS... playing off a SU and ATS ROAD loss to the UCLA BRUINS (Oregon State). These teams have already gone a PERFECT 0-2 ATS THIS season....

6-1 ATS last 4 years: All Conference favorites of 5 > points playing off BB SU losses in which they scored LESS than (<) 50 points each (USC).

USC really turns things around off a BIG home loss....
The TROJANS are 10-1 ATS playing off a DOUBLE-DIGIT Conference home loss... including a PERFECT 4-0 ATS in the last 4 seasons.

Meanwhile, the BEAVERS of Oregon State are 1-8 ATS as Conference Underdogs of 11 < points playing off BB SU and ATS Conference losses.

Jimmy Moore Guaranteed Selections

Detroit/Golden State OVER 208

Detroit will be playing in their 4th game in 5 nights in this game and the Warriors know it. They love the uptempo style of play anyway but you know they will really be focused on a run and gun style to take advantage of the road weary Pistons.

Ball St. -5 over Toledo MAC GOY
USC/Oregon St. over 105.5 PAC 10 Total of the Year
UCSB -3.5 over Cal Poly Big West GOY

Toledo still has not won a game in the MAC and only once all year have they even played a team within this 5 point spread in conference. Ball St. has had a decent year and they are about as good as Western Michigan who just hammered Toledo by 20 earlier this week. This is basically a no-brainer as Ball St. wins 68-52!

I am absolutely stunned by this total because as bad as both of these teams are offensively they still can score close to 60 apiece. Their first game was a joke as USC went about 6 minutes twice without scoring anything and both of them shot the ball horribly. Those numbers will increase and the 3 point shooting will be much better as Lewis had a poor game for USC and the Torjans struggled in the halfcourt. They'll attcak the rim more today at home and this game will easily fly over. As a matter of fact this is still our PAC 10 Total of the Year if the number stays below 111!

UCSB may well be the representative from the Big West this year in the tournament. They hammered Cal Poly earlier this year by 23 and they should be able to do exactly the same thing on the road. Cal Poly has already lost to Pacific at home by 10 and they even lost to Montana St who is nowhere near as a strong a team as the Gauchos are. The Guachos should enjoy a huge edge in the paint as they roll to their 12th conference win 76-63!
