Sac Lawson is a pregame guy Ice :-X

They have a laundry list of guys on their site.
I can't keep up with them.

Couple other guys posted that are there, too.
Just too confusing sometimes.

Heat at Magic
Pick: Magic -12

I really like the Orlando Magic in this game vs the Miami Heat...the Heat will continue to struggle without D.Wade on the court and now the Magic return home after a 4th quarter melt down vs the NO Hornets...the Magic will not take the Heat lightly here and they will get down today on defense...problem is the Magic may light up the scoreboard themselves...this game will be ugly for the Heat...the Heat are 4-10-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings...1-5-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Orlando...Orlando is the play

40-Dime TEMPLE OWLS

Back in the Big 5, as La Salle welcomes Temple, and this ain't gonna be no friendly visit.

The Explorers are banged up pretty bad, missing three seniors who have combined for 3,000 points, and are going to struggle mightily against this defense today.

Ranked 20th in the nation, Temple is sitting in a three-way tie for first place in the Atlantic 10 and has two regular-season games remaining after this one; there is plenty to play for.

Not only are the Owls out to secure a first-round bye in the conference tournament, but you have to believe they're looking for a solid seed if they can escape the final stretch with an impressive 3-0 run.

Temple, at 23-5 overall and 11-2 in A-10 play, is always a Selection Committee favorite to send to the Dance, and the Owls once again look like a prime target.

They just need to win big down the stretch, and that includes the blowout they're expected to hand down today against a La Salle team that will be lucky to end up in the postseason conference tourney.

Only the top 12 teams go, and along with St. Joe's and a couple of others, the Explorers are in danger of missing out on all the fun. Temple already won the first meeting, by 12, back in January.

The final thought in this is that Temple knows darned well Richmond and Xavier will be beating one another up today, in a game between the teams that are tied with the Owls atop the conference standings. So you have to believe the Owls are going to be looking to take advantage of that situation by scoring an easy win today.

40 Dime – CONNECTICUT

Why wouldn't I be backing one of the hottest teams in the Big East right now, especially at home? Since I watched them dismantle Villanova in Philadelphia a few weeks ago, I've seen them finally become the team many thought they would be in the pre-season. They've starting to play as a unit, both offensively and defensively. After their 12-point home loss to Cincy a few weeks back, this team had a player's-only meeting and challenged each other to be accountable for their actions, and to play as if every game was potentially their last. If they continued on the pace they were on, they had no shot at the post-season Big Dance. Since that game they torched Villanova at 'Nova, pummeled Rutgers, and beat a very good West Virginia team fairly soundly.

Today they welcome a Louisville Cardinals team that just beat them by 13 at the beginning of this month. But keep something in mind... Louisville was playing its best basketball back then while UConn was in the midst of its worst basketball of the season. FFWD 27 days to today, and we have two teams that appear to be headed in different directions. No disrespect to Louisville, but they clearly aren't the same team many thought they'd be back in December. They have talent, no doubt, but talent doesn't always equated into the type of season some might predict.. and that's clearly the case with the Cardinals. UConn, on the other hand, is playing its best stretch of basketball at the most opportune time, and getting Louisville at home is just what the doctor ordered.

The one concern most teams have when facing Louisville is the full-court pressure, but if there's a better tandem of guards fit to handle that pressure right now than Kemba Walker and Jerome Dyson, I'd like to know who they are. Walker and Dyson are a dangerous 1-2 tandem who scored 38 combined points in their last win over West Virginia. They aren't turning the ball over nearly as much and I've actually seen both of these guards play better on the defensive end of the floor.

UConn is still playing for their tournament lives, and getting a revenge-type atmosphere at home where they know they need a win, my money is clearly on the Huskies in this one. Connecticut is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a SU win, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. a team with a SU winning record, 10-3 ATS in their last 13 vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS win. The Huskies shoot free throws better and better with each game, and if this comes down a FT shooting contest at the end of the game, I'm happy to back the home team. UConn by at least 7.

Rocketman

3* Mich St +4

The main thing here is Purdue will be missing Forward Robbie Hummel's 16 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. This is a big blow for Purdue and could definitely ruin their chances in the Big Dance. Spartans are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games. Boilermakers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning SU record. Boilermakers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite. Michigan State should be able to take care of business and get the outright upset here today! We'll play Michigan State for 3 units today!
