Bob Balfe
Baltimore Orioles -125
Brad Penny has been hampered with injuries and is coming off a horrible outing a few days ago against the Yankees. I do not think Penny is fully healed and it seems like his good times might be behind him in his career. Orioles Pitcher Chris Tillman, on the other hand, is fresh and made his mark pitching six innings of shutout ball in his first start. This is a different Orioles team this year with a good hitting lineup. Take Baltimore.

Baltimore (-127) for 1.5 Units
The Orioles have gotten good pitching, for the most part, during their successful run thus far. We'll look for Chris Tillman to follow up his strong season debut, when he turned in 6 hitless innings vs TB. We do realize TB is in the bottom of the league in run production; however, the Tigers have not had success vs the American League East at 9-21 and sport a 2-4 mark at Baltimore. Moreover, Detroit is a poor 18-43 in the 9 to 10' total range. And Brad Penny was off the mark his first start of the season; furthermore, he sports a bloated 7.77 ERA in 2 starts vs Baltimore. The Orioles are 20-8 against right handed starters. We'll ride Baltimore here.
