Rocketman

Hawaii +13

Hawaii is 3-1 SU and ATS at home vs Utah State since 1997. Aggies are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Home team is 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. It's never easy for teams to head out to Hawaii for that long trip. I'm expecting a low scoring game here tonight so getting the double digits at home is appealing. I'm expecting Hawaii to keep it closer than most people think. We'll play Hawaii for 3 units tonight!

Marc Lawrence

Northwestern -11

The Wildcats play their final home game of the season tonight when they host the Hawkeyes with revenge on Northwestern's mind from a 13-point loss they suffered earlier this year at Iowa in a matchup of two teams of back-to-back losses. Currently tied for 7th place in the conference with Michigan, the Wildcats have never lost the money in games off back-to-back losses in this series under head coach Bill Carmody, going 6-0 ATS under his command. Meanwhile, Iowa enters knowing they are 0-7-1 ATS in games off back-to-back defeats when facing an opponent with same season double-digit revenge. Look for the Wildcats to send their seniors off in style tonight. We recommend a 3-unit play on Northwestern.

Stanford +3

When the Sun Devils checked out their February schedule, they probably marked this contest as a ‘circle game’ where they drew a circle around Stanford and counted it as an automatic win. Considering that ASU barbecued the Cardinal by 18 points in their first meeting this year, the idea wouldn’t be that far-fetched. But that’s just why we keep our database on a stat-rich diet, so it can spit out a warning in time to save us from disaster. Heed the words of the ‘DB’: Stanford has excelled when taking points at Maples Pavilion, going 9-1-1 ATS of late, including 7-0-1 ATS versus .700 or greater opposition. In addition, Johnny Dawkins’ crew usually aces their exams playing at home off a previous home loss, posting an 8-0 SU and 5-3 ATS mark. The Cardinal is also The hosts also have history on their side when facing Arizona State. In the last 29 meetings, Stanford is 23-6 SU and 18-10-1 ATS, including a smile-inducing 10-2 ATS at home. Currently locked in a death struggle with California for the Pac-10 lead, ASU enters this contest off a same-season revenge match with archrival Arizona and may likely be more focused on Saturday’s upcoming trip to Berkeley to battle the Golden Bears. All things considered, we’ll look for some home cooking to be the difference here today. We recommend a 3-unit play on Stanford.

25* WAC GOY - Utah St.

Duke -18.5

When was the last time the Blue Devils lost at home to a non-conference foe? How about a one-point loss to St. John's ten years ago, 78 games ago. This random non-conference tilt was set up by Coach K because he wanted to prepare his team for next month's NCAA Tournament by scheduling a quality opponent. Tulsa HC Wojcik has a background in the Navy and Coach K in the Army, so that's the connection. For the Golden Hurricane, it's just too bad that this game comes at a point where they are probably playing their worst basketball of the season. They are off three straight losses, two outright as home favorites, and have now failed to cash in an astounding nine consecutive games. They made only 37.7% of their field goal attempts against UTEP on Saturday, which was their second worst shooting night of the season. Duke is streaking in the other direction right now with six straight wins. They are 92-60 ATS L152 times laying double digits at home, including 83-53 ATS if favored by 12.5 or more. More appropriately, they are 7-1 ATS this season off an ATS loss. Take Duke.

Tony George

Cleveland -2.5

Paul Pierce is out for Boston, a huge loss, Cleveland Playing with revenge here after an opening day loss at home to Boston. An aging team in the Celtics, and although neither team playing any defense as of late, the Cavs will buckle down and exact some revenge with a deeper, younger team and more power in the paint. Play 1 Unit on Cleveland.

Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

10* Denver/Golden State Under 227

For a number of different reasons I believe the value in this contest is on the "under"

Denver hasn’t played since a 114-105 home win over Boston on Sunday, and now faces one of the league’s doormats. The Nuggets have scored at least 123 points in winning each of their last five games against the Warriors.

Denver has made the most of its opportunities against Golden State, which has the second-worst record in the West. The Warriors, 2-2 on a six-game homestand, will be without second-leading scorer Corey Maggette (20.3 points per game) for the third straight contest due to a hamstring injury.

Denver doesn't play to a lot of "unders"; that said it has seen the total dip below the number in 16 of 27 road games.

On the other side of the court: Golden State had one of its worst shooting performances of the season Tuesday, making 37.9 percent of its attempts in a 110-102 loss to Philadelphia. Two days earlier, the Warriors shot 53.6 percent in a 108-104 victory over Atlanta; I expect an offensive letdown this evening as well.

Keep in mind that the total has in fact gone "under" the number in four of Golden States last five overall.

Bottom line: The absence of George Karl I believe will effect the Nuggets tonight and without Maggette in the lineup I expect the Warriors to continue to struggle; no need to overanalyze this one; when taking into account these strong "under" trends these teams exhibit in this position, and these other factors, the sharp money in this one is indeed on the UNDER!

The Duke's Sports

Milwaukee (-1) for 2.5 Units

The Bucks are making another run and looking to deliver their 5th straight road win. We're buying into the Bucks tonight after all, they're 6-1 ATS in this series and have dominated teams that are below .400 to the tune of 17-5 ATS. What's more, the Bucks will catch the Pacers coming off an extended road trip and unrested, which is a difficult role for a struggling NBA team, especially Indiana which is just 4-10 SU in the second of back-to-backs. We do realize that the Bucks are unrested too however,Milwaukee sports a strong 11-3 ATS / 9-5 SU mark in that role, including February 6th when they dispatched Indiana 93-81 after winning at NY the previous day. With Bogut turning up his game and the Bucks playing with confidence, we'll look for them to deliver here.
