Gonzaga Over (142') for 2.5 Units
Gonzaga has dominated this series and won the first matchup of this season on January 8th 74-61. However, the Pilots have finally gotten a decent team assembled under Eric Reveno and play very well, offensively, on their home floor. Reveno inserted freshmen PG Douglas into the starting lineup and he has been instrumental in fueling their offense, including a 26 point outing in win over St. Mary's on the 29th. He is a great compliment to Stohl and Sikma. Gonzaga, on the other hand, shoots a prolific 48% from the floor and usually can trade points with the best of them; however, they have trouble stopping foes on the road. Gonzaga is 13-6 O/U on the road vs a team with a home winning % above .600. Portland, which has gone 4-1 O/U in their last 5 at the Chiles Center, sports a 5-1 O/U mark as a home dog. These teams have collectively gone 16-6 O/U on Thursday nights and we won't fight that trend here.
