The Bulldog’s Five Factor Analysis: 1) The Bulldogs Darius Redding is still out on eligibility issues and Louisiana Tech was counting on him to be a key contributor in the front court this season. In the backcourt, the Dogs have lost Brandon Gibson (their third leading scorer) to a knee injury for the season. 2) Being short-handed certainly hasn't helped a Louisiana Tech team that already had subpar talent for a WAC team. It's no wonder that the Bulldogs are still seeking their first conference win of the season and we certainly don't see that coming tonight. 3) The Bulldogs are 0-7 in conference action this season while the Vandals were 5-1 in conference action before suffering a tight loss against Boise State on Saturday. Idaho felt like they were robbed in that game on a late call that went against them and helped lead the Broncos to a 70-67 win. 4) The Vandals had won six straight games before losing to Boise State Saturday and they felt like they were robbed in the final minute of that game. That leads to a huge, highly motivated effort from Idaho in this one tonight. 5) Because Louisiana Tech is on a 5-game winning streak in home games against the Vandals, everyone is jumping on the Bulldogs here and the opening number of Idaho -2 has quickly come down to a -1. This is giving us great line value with the Vandals and we won't hesitate to step in. Note that Idaho is 6-1 ATS in conference action this season. Also, the Vandals are on a long-term 73-49 ATS run when off of a loss against a conference rival. As for the Bulldogs, they are going to drop to 2-5 ATS this season when off of a loss against a conference rival as their disappointing season continues. They just don't have the depth and quality of personnel to match-up with the Vandals here. Play Idaho as an 8* Regular Play selection on Thursday night.
