Wunderdog

4 Units Southeast Missouri State / Austin Peay Under 134.5

Southeast Missouri State was 9-64 in their last 73 games coming into this season vs. Div-1 programs. They have obviously turned the corner as they have exceeded that win total with 10 on the season. They have made strides on the defensive end of the court as they allowed 18 of their first 25 opponents to reach 70 or more, but in their last six, just one team has gotten there, while they have held four others in the 50s or less. The Governors are tightening things up as well with the last two opponents failing to make it out of the 50s. Southeast Missouri State is now 6-0 to the UNDER in their last six, while Austin Peay 15-3 to the UNDER in their last eight at a neutral site. Play the UNDER in this one.

4 Units Oregon State +14.5

The Arizona Wildcats had things in overdrive at 23-4 and had won eight games in a row. They have suddenly gone into an offensive funk that has seen them lose back-to-back games for the first time all season. The disturbing part of it is that they scored a grand total of 106 points in the two losses or 53 points per game. Their lowest output of the season prior to the offensive meltdown had been 63. That puts a slumping offensive team in the danger zone as a huge chalk here. Oregon State beat this Arizona team when they were going good, and will have the confidence here to stay at arms length. The Beavers are on a 22-5 ATS run facing teams with a winning percentage of over .600. Oregon State covers the number.

3 Units Wisconsin / Indiana Under 127.5

When you think of Wisconsin, it is easy to think “Bo knows defense.” Coach Bo Ryan begins and ends with the defensive end of the court, and his Wisconsin teams are always tough on that end of the floor. Not a single team in the Big-10 has managed to top the 70-point mark against his club this season, including two overtime games. The Hoosiers certainly aren't a likely candidate to become the first as they have not reached 70 in their last seven and have averaged just 61 points per game in the stretch. Wisconsin is particularly tough off an ATS win as the UNDER has gone 45-17-1 after an ATS win by the Badgers. The Hoosiers are now 5-0 to the UNDER in their last five at home. I’m playing the UNDER in this one.

3 Units USC / Washington State Under 130

The USC Trojans have been impressive on the defensive end of the court. They have held seven Pac-10 opponents to under 60 points. Recently, they have turned it up a notch as the last three opponents have combined to average 53.3 points per game against them. They have been able to dictate the tempo both home and away. That has held true vs. the good teams as well, as USC is now 7-1 to the UNDER in their last eight vs. a team with a winning percentage over .600. Washington State has put together a 35-17-1 mark to the UNDER vs. teams with a road winning percentage of less than .400. This one stays UNDER the total.

2 Units Fresno State +220

The Idaho Vandals went on an impressive 11-3 run during a 14-game stretch this season, but otherwise have faltered to a 5-9 mark. Fresno State has been bitten by a pair of bad stretches that saw them drop four straight at one point, and six of seven in another. The Bulldogs have been 12-5 otherwise, and have what it takes to steal one here as they are playing like the 12-5 team, not the 1-10 team. This has been an underdog-dominated matchup with the dog cashing five of the last six. I like Fresno State on the moneyline.
