This game is a good opportunity to take a contrarian approach and bet the opposite side to what would seem like the right side. Both Dontrelle Willis and Brian Bannister pitched well in their last start, with those starts coming against the same teams they will face tonight. That means that both line-ups will be very familiar with their stuff, especially with just seeing them a few days ago. In addition, Kansas City's bullpen has been horrible to start the season, and they will see action in today's game. Meanwhile, I don't think Willis is a good pitcher, so I expect the Royals to hit him harder this time around. The only reason this play isn't a stronger selection is because of weather conditions. Rain is expected to stop late in the morning, but temperatures will be in the high 50's to low 60's. I don't think it will be enough to keep this game under the total though. Look for both teams to have good offensive success in this afternoon game.
