Blazers at Mavs
Pick: Mavs -3.5
Dallas has won all three of its head-to-head meetings with Portland at home this year, including an 89-81 victory in Game 1. The Mavs have the best player on the court in Dirk Nowitzki, who scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Saturday's game. I think Dirk leads the Mavs to another win and spread cover as single-digit 'chalk' tonight.

We realize that a key veteran playoff primed player Billups will be out; however, Toney Douglas, his replacement, got his playoff feet wet and responded well. Keep in mind that the Knicks went on a nice run earlier in the season with Douglas running the show while Billups nursed an injury. And Anthony, a pure shooter, rarely has bad back-to-back games. We'll look for Stoudemire to continue to dominate the interior but tonight, get secondary help from the perimeter guys. Celtics should continue to be a playoff favorite bust in this spread range at 3-13 ATS.

San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies
Prediction: Colorado Rockies
Ubaldo Jimenez returns from the DL and gets the baseball tonight for the Rockies, who look to bounce back from last night's poor showing against the division rival Giants. Last night's loss is easy to explain in just two words....Tim Lincecum. Jimenez threw two complete games vs. San Fran last season. The Rockies are 9-1 when the money line is -100 to -150 this season. Colorado is averaging 6.0 runs per game vs. lefties this year. 10* on Colorado (w/ Jimenez).

Atlanta Hawks vs. Orlando Magic
Play: Atlanta Hawks +9
Atlanta has been a true thorn in the side of Orlando. The Hawk’s have won the L4 over the Magic and have covered 5 straight in the series. In Game 1, Atlanta shredded Orlando, 103-93. All of the Magic’s offense came from Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson, who combined for 73 points. The rest of the team was unable to produce. The Hawk’s had 4 players in DD’s, with Guard Joe Johnson leading the way with 25 points. Atlanta will come out with the same game plan for this matchup and Orlando will be out-played again. The Hawk’s are 4-0 their L4 following a SU win, 5-2 their L7 road games vs. teams with a home winning percentage over .600, and 4-1 their L5 games played on 2 days rest. The Magic are 4-15 their L19 games as a favorite, 2-8 their L10 games at home, and 0-4 their L4 games played on 2 days rest.

Minnesota Twins vs. Baltimore Orioles
Play: Minnesota Twins
Two clubs that are now headed in opposite directions as Baltimore after it's fast start out of the gate has dropped eight straight games and Minnesota is starting to turn it around and has won their last two contests. Twins will have Carl Pavano (1-1, 3.60) on the mound while the Orioles counter with Jake Arrieta (1-1, 7.04) who has allowed 17 hits in 15.1 innings to date. Pavano is 5-3 lifetime over Baltimore and Minnesota gets the edge.
