Atlanta Braves -155

The Phillies got a nasty reality check when dropping their last two games at home against the Marlins. To make matters worse, Kyle Kendrick has been awful this season (as well as last season) on the mound, which the Braves should capitalize on early. Tommy Hanson, on the other hand, has pitched very well in his last few starts and, if the Braves can give him the run support he needs, this game should be over quick. Take the Braves.

3* THUNDER/LAKERS OVER 189

Over 189 gets the call here boys as the Lake Show will not hold the High Flying Thunder down tonight in LA. The K Durant show will not go 1-8 from behind the arc and shoot 30% tonight, The Thunder will get out and run and we will ride that 8-4 over mark for them away from the Ford City center. The Thunder are also a stellar 5-1-1 Over after a loss. The Lakers have stepped up the D at home and the line opened at 190 and the public moved it to 189, Our power ratings have this total somewhere in the 202- 204 range and the play is a 3* move on the OVER!!!

10* Lakers -6.5

Lakers did not play well in game 1 but still got the win and cover. The Lakers won 87-79 Sunday mostly on the strength of their dominating first quarter, in which 7-footers Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum scored and rebounded with abandon and the team shot 54 percent. Although never losing the lead, the Lakers didn't win another quarter and the Thunder got within six points with 3 1/2 minutes remaining. Jackson will have them more focused and motivated tonight

Phoenix -8.5

When the Suns host the Trailblazers in Game Two of this opening round series they will do so knowing Phoenix is 13-0 ATS in its last 13 games this season against opponents off a SU and ATS win. From our powerful database we find that home teams in Game Two of an opening round playoff series, off a home loss in Game One in which they failed to the spread by 13 or more points, are 10-0 SU and ATS if they were favored by more than six points in the loss and are favored by 13 or less points in this game. Look for Portland to dip to 6-19-2 ATS on the playoff road off a win here tonight. We recommend a 3-unit play on Phoenix.
