These teams rank low in offensive production, yet both coaches Taylor and Coles are defensive sticklers. We should see another grind it out game where the shooting should be as could in Millett Hall as the weather is outside with more blizzard conditions forecasted. Ball State's offensive woes have been taken to new heights after laughable displays in their half-court game. Moreover, they've been turnover laden over the last month. We'll look for Miami Ohio, which does play good defense at home to create more problems for the Cardinals; at the same time, the injury riddled Redhawks, which lost their leading scorer Ballard and a pretty good backcourt partner in Rollins, have few go-to scoring options left. Ball State is 1-4 O/U vs MAC foes and the Redhawks are 1-6 O/U on Tuesdays. This series has gone 2-4 O/U with 2 of those "overs" eclipsing the total because of OT. "Under" the call.

Air Force has been dominant from a point spread perspective in conference play. They have also done better lately against the spread. New Mexico has been a disappointment for the most part this season, and they have lost their last four road games, including against weaker teams. The Lobos are also coming off of their biggest win of the season, a huge home win against a top 10 team in BYU. Air Force plays very well at home as well. Look for the Falcons to get the home win.
