Rutgers (+4) for 2 Units
Rutgers has been a team that has been highly competitive in the Big East (5-1 ATS) and will put up a fight to the finish. The Scarlett Knights went into the Carrier Dome on Saturday and nearly knocked off the Orangemen in OT. Rutgers is 6-0 ATS off a SU loss. Louisville, which is coming off a huge win at home vs Connecticut, has been extremely inconsistent over the last month: the Cardinals have not won consecutive games since January 26-29. And the Cardinals are a money burning 4-16-1 ATS following an ATS win. Furthermore, they're 3-9 ATS on Tuesdays and a mere 1-4 ATS as a road favorite in this spread range. The Cardinals have dominated this series to the tune of 8-1 SU but won't have an easy time at the Louis Brown Athletic Center tonight. Louisville expends great deal of energy creating turnovers but Rutgers has a veteran group, including Sr. floor leader Mike Coburn who makes good decisions for the Scarlett Knights, which have been good at avoiding turnovers. The 'Knights also have a solid front-court veteran in Jonathon Mitchell who is strong on the boards. And the 'Knights are solid free throw shooters lately at 72% over last 5 games. Rutgers the call.
