San Jose -110
The San Jose Sharks lead the Western Conference Pacific Division with the Phoenix Coyotes right on their heels. San Jose is the 2nd best team right now in the Western Conference behind Chicago. Phoenix comes in losers of 4 of their last 5 games overall this year. Sharks are 4-0 in their last 4 road games. Sharks are 6-1 in their last 7 vs. Pacific. Sharks are 10-2 in their last 12 overall. Coyotes are 15-31 in their last 46 vs. a team with a winning % above .600. We'll play San Jose for 3 units tonight!

Detroit +5
We understand that considering the Pistons' poor level of play over the last two-plus weeks for many of you this will be a "scary" play. After all, we made the wrong call on Saturday when we went with them at home vs. Philadelphia. Last night, they went out and lost by 33 to division rival Chicago, their 13th straight loss and 12th ATS loss during that same stretch. In that aformentioned writeup, we incorrectly stated that "if there is one team that Detroit can beat, it's Philadelphia." Looking now, it is clear that the Washington Wizards are the "team to beat." The Gilbert Arenas season-long suspension has left the whole franchise a mess. Unlike that Philly game, Detroit is getting points here. The Wiz should not be laying points against anyone. They are just 4-11 ATS their last 15 home games. Before a recent home tilt, F Jamison basically had to come out and beg for fan support in the wake of Arenas making a fool out of himself by making a joke of his recent gun charges. The Pistons have beaten Washington four straight times, including twice already this season, one of which was on this home floor. The Wizards are already only 8-17 ATS in revenge spots this season and 6-14 ATS their last 20 double revenge spots. Believe it or not, but there is a 42-17 ATS system that says to play on Detroit. Take teams that have failed to cover at least 12 of their last 15 games and are playing on back to back days. Detroit is our NBA Oddsmaker Mismatch.

Baylor -5 over Colorado
Watch out for this team in the Big 12 because they have good guard play and a huge front line. The Bears roll out 3 starters in the frontcourt all 6'10" or more and then they have 2 good oustide shooters in Dunn and Carter in the backcourt. This team is not afraid to play on the road as they already have wins at Arkansas, Arizona St and South Carolina. Those teams are all equal to or better than Colorado. The Buffaloes will have a tough time keeping Baylor from scoring 80+ points because they don't have the interior players to match up with the Bears. This weekend in a game where the Buffs gave up over 100 points to Texas they had only 18 rebounds the entire game. They'll get beat heavily on the boards and Carter and Dunn will combine for 35+ points from the perimeter as the Bears roll to an easy 87-72 win!

4* ROCKETS / BOBCATS UNDER
I like looking at defensive teams under the total and no one is more intense right now than Larry Brown and his Charlotte Bobcats. They are 9th in field goal shooting defense and tops in points allowed, just 92.9 ppg. Both teams for this game have had 2 full days off, which means they will both have fresh legs to play defense. Houston began the season as an uptempo squad, but they are far more defensive oriented now, on a 7-2 run under the total. Charlott is on a 7-3 run under the total and this total is far too high. Play the Rockets/Bobcats Under the total.

5* New Jersey ML -110
The Devils are the best road team in the league this season by far and this is a road trip they are very familiar with. Jersey is 16-3 this season when playing a team with a losing record and they are 8-1 after allowing 4 or more goals in a game. The Rangers are only 3-8 in the division this season. Thank you and good luck.
