I'm very big on the efficiency of the offenses and defenses of teams, especially when it comes to college hoops. We have Northwestern with offensive and defensive efficiency rankings of 66th and 75th, respectively. Ohio State comes in with offensive and defensive efficiency rankings of 19th and 28th, respectively.
Northwestern is coming off a huge upset win over Purdue. It should be noted that the Purdue win was a home game. I expect a flat performance from the Wildcats tonight in Columbus. If anything, that NU win over Purdue helps the Buckeyes keep their focus and intensity for the full 40 minutes.
The Buckeyes already own home wins of 13 points over Florida State and 9 over Wisconsin, so I don't see them having a problem covering this number. I have the Buckeyes winning this one by 16. Lay it with Ohio State.
