This is when playing a big conference has its advantages, and Ol Miss while struggling in their last game against Texas Tech showed some non-focus in that game, they are a cagy bunch of guys who hit the boards big time and can shoot lights out and play up-tempo ball. They gave all the elite teams in the SEC some trouble this year. Dayton has been impressive with wins over Cincy and Illinois, the matchups here and the athletes Ol Miss I has, and the depth at day’s end make the difference in this one. An SEC team against a A-10 team who has had opponents overlook them in this tourney, especially Illinois, will have the attention of an well coached Ol Miss squad poised fro a run here. Better rebounding and free throws also favor Ol Miss. Play 1 Unit Mississippi.

I don't normally recommend favorites of this size, but for a number of different reasons I believe the Devils will do just enough here to come away with the home victory.
Boston dropped two of three on a home stand; most recently a 3-2 loss to Buffalo just yesterday.
The Bruins are a brutal 13-16 (-3 units) when playing against a team with a winning record.
On the other side of the rink: The Devils lost 5-1 in Philadelphia on Sunday and will look to bounce back with a concerted effort tonight as it battles Pittsburgh down the stretch for the Atlantic division crown.
A victory will also put the Devils in second place in the East as they have one more win than the Pens.
Keep in mind that New Jersey is 5-1 its last six in front of the home town crowd.
Bottom line: I look for Martin Brodeur to bounce back from a sub-par effort and out play his counterpart Rask; both clubs are desperate for victories, but the fact that Boston played less than 24 hours previous, coupled with home ice advantage makes the DEVILS the sharp wager here.
