New York hasn't been a good home team all season and now they enter this game as a decent sized home favorite against a team that can win outright. The Knicks are 2-4-1 against the spread and 2-5 straight up at home. They are also coming off of a very tiring double overtime road win at Detroit just two days ago. New York also doesn't have good depth at all, and starting point guard Raymond Felton is dealing with an ailing back. Because of the depth problem, playing this game just two days later after starters playing two overtimes is a huge problem for the Knicks, especially when you're asking them to cover as a favorite of two possessions. New Jersey is just 4-6 straight up in their last 10 games, but they are 6-3 against the spread on the road. The Nets are also coming off of a motivational boost by getting a home win over Portland two days ago. New Jersey is well rested and playing better and better under head coach Avery Johnson, who has made a good impact on this team. Look for the Nets to win this game outright.
