John Lackey takes the mound again for Boston after his dominant performance in his first start for the Red Sox. He has pitched well against Minnesota in his career, and I expect him to be motivated to continue his good performance since this is only his second start with the team. Kevin Slowey should be able to limit Boston since they hit much worse on the road than at home. He is a capable pitcher, who has done well at home in his career. Temperatures are expected to be a little chilly for the start of the game in the high 50's to low 60's with some wind aiding pitchers as well. Both teams had yesterday off, which could throw off rhythm of the hitters. In addition, both bullpens have done well this season, and they will be well rested. Look for this game to fall under the total and get an 8.5 at a plus price if you can.
