Lance Blankenship

LSU at Tennessee
Pick: LSU +16

Tennessee is an unsound ball club. They rely on outside shooting and have no defensive identity. LSU has been pounded in their last two games but I see them playing very well tonight. The Tigers have power in the lane and can win the rebounding battle. Take LSU +16 and take the cash.

The Duke's Sports

Penn State (-7') for 2 Units

Iowa should have trouble in this spot. They're coming off a big home win against Indiana last Saturday and will have to play on the Big 10 road, where they struggled, with limited prep time. Penn State, on the other hand, which had 4 extra prep days to stew over their last two very competitive road losses, is eager to exact revenge on the Hawkeyes, which beat them the last two times. Penn State sports a solid 5-1 ATS mark as a home favorite of 7 to 12'. And the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings. With the emergence of David Jackson as a viable third scoring option, Battle should get less attention and elevate his game. The Hawkeyes are highly inconsistent off wins at 1-9 ATS and play sluggishly mid-week at 0-4 ATS on Wednesday. We'll look for the Hawkeyes to fall to 3-8 ATS on the road against a team with a winning % above .600.
