Post-season tournaments leave a trail as to tendencies, and how they change from the regular season, and even post-season conference tournaments. Taking a snapshot of the trail they leave behind offers value in given areas, and a place and time to exploit these situations as they arise. I have years of data and have found many places where these situations can be taken advantage of and will post them as they arise. This game fits into that area. OVER gets the call.

St. Johns at Memphis
Pick: St. Johns +7
Believe this is a case of St. Johns excited to be playing in this contest, while for Memphis this is not what they wanted. Yes, the tigers are saying all the right things, but here will take the numerous points with the underdog from the power conference of the Big East. the Johnnies could easily win this one outright.
The Duke's Sports
Nevada (+8') for 2.5 Units
Nevada is a dangerous veteran team with a well balanced offense led by 6'9" match up nightmare Luke Babbit moreover, the Wolf Pack has an experienced back court in Johnson and Fields. Nevada's defense has been their Achilles heal but they've show the ability to make stops down the stretch of road games to preserve victory. The Wolf Pack turned in quality non-conference covers, including a strong showing against BYU on a neutral floor, crushing Houston at home, and easily covering at North Carolina in Chapel Hill. And the Wolf Pack has had success vs the MVC at 5-1 ATS, including an easy cover at Missouri State February 20th. We do realize that Wichita State has a strong home floor in which they went a perfect 17-0 SU on however, they struggled to cover at home down the stretch of the season at 1-3 ATS; furthermore, they've flopped in non-conference play at 2-5 ATS. Another thing to consider, the NIT has not excited many of the student body in general; consequently, NIT opening rounds play in less than capacity arenas enabling road teams to focus better and cover. Our theory held up well yesterday with many road dogs covering including our selections TX Tech and NC State as outright dog winners. Nevada the call today.
