Memphis Grizzlies -9.5

The Memphis Grizzlies are highly motivated for a win tonight following three straight blowout losses to the Mavericks, Clippers and Spurs. This resilient team, which has not lost four straight in nearly a year, will bounce back in a big way against the lowly Sacramento Kings tonight.

Sacramento is just 3-14 on the road this season. It is scoring a mere 92.9 points while allowing 102.2 away from home this year, getting outscored by a whopping 9.3 points/game on average.

The Grizzlies have won eight of their last 10 meetings with the Kings, and they've averaged 115.6 points and 52.7 percent shooting in winning five straight meetings at home by an average of 18.8 points.

This play falls into a system that is 41-13 (75.9%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. It tells us to bet against any team (SACRAMENTO) - revenging a loss where opponent scored 110 or more points against opponent off a road blowout loss of 20 points or more.

Sacramento is 0-5-1 ATS in its last 6 games overall. The Kings are 6-22-2 ATS in their last 30 games following a ATS loss. Memphis is 7-3 ATS in its last 10 meetings with Sacramento, including 4-1 ATS in its last 5 home meetings. Bet the Grizzlies Friday.

Brooklyn Nets -6

The Nets will be out for some serious revenge tonight after losing 109-95 in Atlanta Wednesday. That loss ended a 7-game winning streak, and it was their 6th straight defeat in the series. While Atlanta beat Brooklyn its last time out, that was just its 2nd win in 8 games. The Hawks have lost their last 5 on the road, and each of the last 3 losses have come by 10 points or more. The Hawks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall, 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games following an ATS win, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a win of more than 10 points and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Nets are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games. The home team is 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings, and the Nets are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home meetings in the series. Lay the points.

Washington Wizards +10

The Wizards are 1-16 on the road but 10-6-1 ATS in those games as they have been undervalued on the road all season. In fact, they are 8-1 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 12 points this season. The Wizards are a better team now that John Wall is back on the floor, and I expect them to keep this one closer than the oddsmakers think.

Boston -3.5

These teams are meeting for the third time this season with each winning once in games played in Chicago. The Bulls have the better record (22-15 vs 20-18). Boston sits in third place in the Atlantic Division while Chicago trails Indiana by a half game in the Central. Both teams continue to emphasize defense as the key to success although both games in Chicago went OVER Totals that were in the low 180's. Boston is the healthier team and had won 6 straight prior to an ugly and embarrassing 90-78 home loss to lowly New Orleans the other night, insuring focus for tonight's contest. Both teams are rested after having last played on Wednesday.

BOSTON (-3) over Chicago

Let's follow up last night's blow out winner on the Anteaters of Cal-Irvine with the Celtics. Boston is coming off a pathetic performance vs New Orleans that was complicated by the fact that head coach Doc Rivers was playing against his son. C's mayhave laid down to Doc Jr but they will be ready to play their best basketball tonight against one of the Eastern Conferences best teams. Boston's loss to New Orleans Wednesday's ended a six-game win streak and the Celtics have been particularly tough at home where they have covered 9 of their last 12. We expect the Celtics to bounce back big tonight giving us our 13 winner in our last 18 selections!
