Black Widow

1* on Western Carolina -3.5

Getting Western Carolina as only a 3.5-point favorite over UNC-Greensboro is a generous gift from odds makers Monday. Greensboro is just 5-21 this season which includes a 3-11 record at home where they are getting outscored by 10.2 points/game. Western Carolina is 15-13 this season and already beat Greensboro at home 83-73. WCU has won six straight and are 7-1 SU & 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. They have saved their best basketball for last and we do not see them slipping up against lowly Greensboro tonight. Greensboro is 12-24 ATS (-14.4 Units) in all home games over the last 3 seasons. WCU is 5-0 in their last 5 meetings with Greensboro, winning by at least 5 points each time. The Spartans have obviously been terrible at home, but that's especially the case in the underdog role. Greensboro is 8-26-3 ATS in their last 37 games as a home underdog. Take Western Carolina and lay the points.

Jeff Alexander

1 Unit on Kent State +1.5

Motivated by back-to-back defeats, expect Kent State to handle Western Michigan for a 5th straight time. The Broncos have been a terrible investment laying any amount of points. They are just 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite of 6.5 or fewer and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite period. The Broncos are also 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 9-23-2 ATS in their last 34 games following a victory. Kent State, which hasn't played since Friday, also has the benefit of 1 extra day of rest. Expect the Golden Flashes to put that extra day to good use as they take care of the Broncos yet again tonight.

Info Plays

3* Oklahoma State/Kansas OVER 144.5

Reasons why Oklahoma St/Kansas will go over:

1) With the way Kansas can score the basketball, the over has been an excellent play for them this season. The score has went over the total in 15 of the Jayhawks 23 games this season, including seven of the last eight.

2) Oklahoma State hasn't been a great play on either the over/under this season, but are a PERFECT 7-0 OVER after 2 or more consecutive losses over the last 2 seasons.

3) Kansas is 6-0 OVER in home games off a home win scoring 85 or more points over the last 3 seasons!

Charlie Scott

Syracuse vs. Villanova
Play: Over 135

I know both teams are coming off Saturday OT wins, but feel the oddsmaker has adjusted too much and put up a bad total. I made Tonight's Total 143-144 without adjusting for Saturday's OT. When these 2 Teams played each other Jan 22, Villanova won 83-72 and the total for that game was 143.

W.Carolina @ UNC-Greensboro
Play On: Under 153.0

Western Carolina has gone under the total in 10 of their 14 games on the road this season in which there was a total posted. The average total score in those 14 games was 136.4 PPG. Greensboro has gone under the total in their last 7 games following 4 straight games in which they forced 14 turnovers or less in each contest. The average total score in those 7 games was 141.3 PPG. With both teams on playing over the total in the majority of their recent games this number has gone from an opener of 150.0 to 153.0. The books aren't generally off the mark when setting a number in particular with such a small card. Play on this contest to go under the total as my free selection of the night.
