Jimmy Moore

Vancouver Canucks -165

Vancouver has won 2 in a row on the road but they will be very ready to get a home win after losing their last 2 home games only scoring one goal in each game. Toronto is on a terrible road trip going 0-3 and giving goals by the bunches. Look for the Canucks to take advantage of the Leafs lousy defense to light the lamp enough to get this win.

Jeffrey James

Purdue -1.5

Talk about domination. Purdue has covered the last 7 games against Michigan and they already beat them by 17 points earlier this season. Michigan has only covered 3 of their last 10 and 1 of their last 5 overall so they are not playing well to the number right now. Look for the domination to continue with a win and cover here by Purdue.

Texas Tech at Baylor
Play: Baylor -10

The Red Raiders are a money-burning 4-11-1 ATS in their last sixteen trips to Baylor and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games versus .601 or greater opposition. The Red Raiders' mediocrity will be exposed by a solid Baylor squad that is 13-2 SU at home this season where they are averaging 80.2 points per game on 48.0% shooting from the field and 38.3% from beyond the arc.

Overall, Baylor is 8.1 points per game better than average offensively this season (77.5 points per game against teams that would combine to allow 69.4 points per game), which is certainly good enough to exploit a reeling Texas Tech defense that is allowing 75.1 points per game on the road and 75.6 points over its last five games. I also like the fact that Baylor is shooting 74.3% from the foul line, including 77.4% over its last five games and 74.3% in conference play.

Texas Tech arrives in town off a thrilling 85-82 upset win over Iowa State so a letdown is a real possibility for Tubby Smith's squad tonight. Of greater concern is the fact that the Red Raiders' attack continues to struggle, averaging just 68.4 points over the last five games on 38.4% shooting from the field. The Red Raiders are going to gave a difficult time scoring against a very good Baylor defense that is limiting opponents to a mere 63.8 points per game at home.

From a technical standpoint, Texas Tech is 7-17 ATS off a close home win over a conference foe and 20-33 ATS off an upset win, including 9-17 ATS off an upset win as a home underdog. Lay the points with the Bears and invest with confidence.
