San Jose State at Montana State
Prediction: San Jose State

Despite losing four straight games, San Jose State (12-12) should end their slide against Montana State (14-12) in this Bracketbuster matchup. While both club are in the middle of their conference standings, the Western Athletic Conference is the 10th best conference in the RPI rankings while the Big Sky is ranked 18th. The Spartans relative strength of schedule in comparison to the Bobcats should help make the difference in this game. While San Jose State comes off an 81-65 loss to Utah State, the Spartans have covered five of their last seven games coming off a game where they failed to cover the pointspread. Montana State enters this game after an 80-74 win against Sacramento State. But the Bobcats have failed to cover the spread in their last four games coming off a win. And Montana State does not perform well as favorites as they have failed to cover the spread in their last five games when laying the points. Take the points with San Jose State.

Info Plays

3* on Sacramento State +17.5

Reasons why Sacramento State covers:

1.) System Play. We'll Play Against - Home favorites of 10 or more points (MONTANA) - after having covered 4 or 5 of their last 6 against the spread, playing with 5 or 6 days rest. This is a 62-23 ATS System hitting 72.9% over the last 5 seasons. This system is 11-3 this season.

2.) Sacramento State lost to Montana 56-57 at home back on January 15th. There's no way Montana should be favored this heavily Saturday after beating this same team by just 1 point in their first meeting. Also, Sacramento State is a solid 11-4 ATS on the road this season. Bet Sacramento State on the road.

Dave Price

1 Unit on Thunder/Knicks UNDER 205

NY is 14-4 UNDER after having lost 8 or more of its last 10 games over the last 2 seasons and Oklahoma City is 8-0 UNDER in road games off a home win by 10 points or more over the last 2 seasons. We saw only 194 points in the season's first meeting and we're expecting another low-scoring game here as the Knicks likely experience some team chemistry issues on the floor after making trades. Bet the Under for 1 Unit.

1 Unit on Kentucky +1.5

Kentucky should not be an underdog to Vanderbilt Saturday. The Wildcats are 25-1 this season, and have been virtually unstoppable with one of the best lineups in the country. They have two lightning-quick guards, and two dominant big men in the middle. The Wildcats are outscoring their opponents by a jaw-dropping 13.2 points/game on the road this season. Kentucky is 27-8 ATS after 3 straight games outrebounding opponent by 6 or more since 1997. Vanderbilt is 3-14 ATS after having won 4 of their last 5 games over the last 3 seasons. Vandy is 0-7 ATS versus teams who are called for 17 or less fouls/game after 15+ games over the last 2 seasons. Kentucky is 7-0 ATS in road games versus good foul drawing teams - attempting >=25 free throws/game over the last 2 seasons. Cash in with Kentucky as the underdog.
