The Cardinal are coming off an 82-72 win at Oregon State on February 21st. Josh Huestis had 20 points and 11 boards; Dwight Powell added 14 points and 11 boards.

The Ducks are coming off a disheartening 48-46 loss to California on the 21st. Arsalan Kazemi had 11 points and 18 boards. Carlos Emory chipped in 13 points. Not only was it a season-low in points, but it was a season low 27.6 percent shooting from the floor. The Ducks were also just 2 of 15 from behind the arc, and 12 of 20 from the charity stripe. To say this team will be looking to atone for that setback would be a bit of an understatement I'd say. Expect a much more concerted effort from the opening tip, until the final horn this evening.

Not only is Stanford just 7-10 ATS this year when playing against a team with a winning record, but it's also only 4-5 ATS on the road this season.

Note that Oregon is in fact 6-4 ATS after allowing 60 points or less this season.

This is a 1* free play on Oregon. This is a "revenge game" for the home side after it lost 76-52 to Stanford on February 23rd. The Ducks have their back against the wall, tied now with Arizona for first place in the Pac-12. But I believe there are significant external motivating factors working in favor of Oregon tonight, and believe it will rally here and overcome the absence of starting point guard Dominic Artis. Consider a second look at the Ducks in this one!

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The defending Stanley Cup champions have won four of their last five, but they are still digging their way out of a hole, sitting two points out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Kings will host an injury depleted Colorado Avalanche team tonight, and the Avs have won three of four. Two of those were decided after regulation, and the other was a game that saw the Avs get a favorable call, scoring on a play that was obviously offside, but missed by the officials.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Here are my keys to the game:
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
1: Situational/Motivational: The Kings are the defending champs, and they are well aware of what can happen if they can get into the post-season. Last year they went all the way after sneaking in as the eighth seed. The Avs would love to go to the post-season, and they are currently right behind L.A. in the standings, but it would be naive for any of the Avs players to think that they have a realistic chance of making the playoffs.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
2: Injuries - Colorado will be without forward Steve Downie, and their leading scorer from last season Ryan O'Neill who remains unsigned. That's a lot of offense missing from an already average lineup. Team captain Gabriel Landeskog is slated to make his return the lineup, after missing the last 11 games with a concussion. He will likely have to shake off some rust before becoming a factor. Defenseman Erik Johnson is also out with a head injury, while Ryan Wilson is listed as questionable.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
3: Special Teams - Neither team is particulary good on the power-play, but Colorado has been particularly poor in both man-advantage and shorthanded situations.

Nebraska likes to slow the pace down, but Iowa has excellent weapons and balance, inside and out. The Hawkeyes can play defense, too, tops in the Big 10 in defending the three-pointer, and a whole lot of depth utilizing three freshmen at times that has vastly upgraded this offense. The Hawkeyes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Big Ten. Nebraska shoots 40% as a team and has lost 4 of the last 5 games. The Cornhuskers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. And this Iowa team ranks 70th in the nation in scoring and has won 3 in a row. Play Iowa!

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Just as the laws of physics govern life in our universe, so too do the laws of handicapping determine the ATS outcomes of most basketball games. One of these laws states to “play underdogs only when you believe they can win the game outright” - an axiom that puts us squarely on Clemson today. Why? Aside from the fact that “three things can happen when you bet on a live dog, and two of them are good,” the hard-luck Tigers have suffered FIVE ACC losses by 5 or less points this season. In fact, Clemmie's last three encounters have been decided by final margins of 1, 3 and 2 points (1-2 SU, 3-0 ATS), which tells us they're ready to break into the win column again. Brad Brownell's Tigers saw an 8-year postseason appearance streak snapped last year and one of the contributing factors was a 2-point loss to the Terps at Littlejohn Coliseum as 8.5-point chalk. With a record of 13-12 on the season, the Tigers look to be in serious jeopardy of staying home again in March… unless they close strong in their final five regular season games. They've held the upper hand in this series when taking the court off a SU loss, posting an 18-7 ATS mark, including a jaw-dropping 13-2 ATS when accompanied by a winning record. Clemson catches the Terrapins as they try to regroup from a humbling loss to Boston College just three days after Maryland upset No. 1 Duke at College Park, and right before a UM road revenger against Georgia Tech. Factor in Brownell's 18-8 ATS effort as a conference dog off a SU loss and you don't have to be Stephen Hawking to know our money's on Clemson here. Tigers get physical and restore the roar in today's high noon showdown. We recommend a 1-unit play on Clemson.

UAB vs. MarshallFREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Play: MarshallFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Marshall is coming off an upset win at Central Florida on Wednesday as it won by 12 points as a seven-point underdog. Normally this could mean a letdown but this season has been such a disaster for the Thundering Herd that there is no chance that can happen. They are 12-15 overall including 5-7 in C-USA and after coming into the season expecting to make some noise at the top, it has been anything but. The only hope now is a run in the C-USA Tournament and with that it will take momentum coming in. Marshall has a fairly tame schedule the rest of the way so a run going into the tournament is more than possible. Another reason there will be no letdown today is the fact that the Thundering Herd were crushed by UAB by 14 points in the first meeting in Birmingham so they will be out for some payback. These teams are almost identical when it comes to records as both teams are 10-3 at home and 2-9 on the road while Marshall has one more loss than UAB goes on a neutral floor. So taking just the home road games, the host is 38-10 this season in the two teams games combined which is a big edge for Marshall in this rematch with such a small number to have to cover. The Blazers won their last game by 23 points but that came against a horrible Rice team at home and going back, they are 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a win by 20 or more points. Additionally, UAB is 3-12 ATS in its last 15 road games and while Marshall has been killing its backers this season, I expect it to step up in this revenge matchup Saturday.

LA Clippers -9FOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
This game falls into a situation to play on favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points like the Clippers when they are a good offensive team averaging 98-102 points per game and coming off a blowout loss by 20 points or more playing against a poor defensive team allowing 98-102 points per game. This trend has delivered a 38-12 (76%) ATS record the last 50 times this situation has occurred.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
You also want to play against road underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points like Utah when they are revenging 2 straight losses where their opponent scored 100 or more points, and the teams are playing their 2nd game in the last 7 days. This situation is 34-11 (75.6%).
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Jazz have been horrible on the road with an ATS record that is as bad as their straight up record. Utah is 10-18 in road games and they have allowed 101.5 points per game. The Clippers are one of the best teams in the league and they should have a big game playing at home and coming off that embarrassing loss against San Antonio.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Miami has turned up the Heat of late picking up where they left off before the break with a pair of road wins vs Atlanta and Chicago. Now they travel to Philly to take on an Underachieving Sixers team that has failed to cover 8 of 11 at home off a road game where they scored 90 or less. Miami has won 14 of the last 15 in this series and have covered 5 of the last 7 here. This game also applies to a solid system here tonight that plays on road teams like Miami with 1 day of rest that scored 90 or less as a road favorite of 4 or less and shot 45% or higher, vs an opponent off a road game that scored 90 or less as well. These road teams have won and covered 9 of 10 times since 1995. Look for Miami to stay hot with another win and Cover.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Kentucky Wildcats are showing great value as only a 1.5-point home favorite over the Missouri Tigers Saturday. Losing Nerlens Noel for the season is certainly a huge blow to the Wildcats, but that's the reason they are way undervalued heading into this contest. This team still has more talent than Missouri even without Noel.

Missouri has been atrocious on the road this season. It is just 1-6 in true road games this year with its only victory coming against SEC bottom feeder Mississippi State.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Kentucky is 13-2 at home this season. It is scoring 80.5 points/game and allowing 60.5 points/game at home this year, outscoring opponents by a whopping 20.0 points/game.

Missouri is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 road games overall. The Tigers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Bet Kentucky Saturday.

Oklahoma State is absolutely the better team, but the better team doesn't always win the game. It's a terrible spot for the Cowboys. They're off two incredible games at home against Oklahoma and Kansas, rallying for the win over the Sooners and then bowing in 2OT against Kansas. Oklahoma State has no worries about making the Big Dance and they already have a win over West Virginia. Add it all up and it reads dead spot for the Cowboys. I'm thoroughly unimpressed with this West Virginia team, particularly when they're on offense. But the Mountaineers should at least be decent enough to take advantage of a huge scheduling edge, and I'm getting enough from the guys who set the lines to leave a little room for error. Make it West Virginia plus the points.

Oregon still awaiting the return of key frosh G Dominic Artis, whose absence could impede the Ducks’ desire for retribution after their numbing 76-52 loss (sans Artis) at Palo Alto on Jan. 30 (not to mention cross-sport payback from a football loss in November that eventually denied the Ducks a spot in the BCS title game vs. Alabama). Yes, Stanford is not likely to hit another 57% beyond the arc, as it did in the first meeting at friendly Maples Pavilion. But the experienced Tree backcourt, led by Gs Chasson Randle (scored 17 in first meeting) and Aaron Bright, is not likely to allow the Cardinal to lose contact in Eugene, where Dana Altman’s crew has covered only 5 of its last 14 after Thursday’s bitter loss vs. Cal.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Both the Nuggets and the Bobcats are coming off a loss last night, but at least the Nuggets were competitive in Washington. The Bobcats were blown out on their own floor, losing by a margin of 30 points to the Bulls.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
They don't have a lot of time to reflect on their pathetic effort, as they have to play their second game in as many nights against the Nuggets tonight. Denver didn't miss by much in their loss at Washington last night, and a similar effort tonight should be sufficient to get past a much less talented Bobcats team.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Charlotte has failed to score 80 points in three of their last six games overall. The Nuggets have won three straight against Charlotte, covering the points in each of those meetings. That included a 99-88 victory at Charlotte last March. The Nuggets have taken seven of the last nine meetings, covering the spread in each of those victories. The last four meetings between these teams saw the total go under. Charlotte has seen the total go under the number in eight of it's last 10 games overall.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Nuggets have lost four straight on the road, and they are likely to snap that skid in Charlotte tonight against lesser competition. With both teams playing in a back to back situation, we might see a slower pace, and a lower scoring affair.
