Nashville vs. Anaheim
Pick: UnderFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
With yesterday's 5-0 winner on Vancouver over Anaheim, my "complimentary" plays are now 10-4 in 2013.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
I also eked out a winner with my "premium" play on the "under 5.5" in the same game. With that victory, my premium plays are now 73-49 (+$17,279) in 2013.

The Ducks are back on the ice again tonight and once again I feel there's some value with the total.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Its true that we have to lay some extra juice to play at 5.5. However, while its more than I'd prefer to lay on a total, I believe that the price is still reasonable.

Note that 10 of the last 12 games between these clubs had an O/U line of five.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Nashville games are averaging only 4.7 goals. The Predators' two road games have averaged only 3.5. Off a 3-0 shutout, note that the "under" is 21-11-4 the last 36 times that the Preds scored one goal or less in their previous game.

During that stretch, the "under" is also 24-11 when the Preds played a road game with an O/U line of 5.5
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Three of four meetings last season finished with five or fewer combined goals. With both teams failing to find the back of the net the last time they were on the ice, don't be surprised if goals are again at a premium. Consider the Under 5.5.

Southern Miss vs. TulsaFREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Pick: TulsaFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Golden Eagles hit the road following a 56-point home win against Marshall on Wednesday which is providing us with value on Tulsa which is back home following a 1-1 roadtrip. Southern Mississippi was expected to go through a rebuilding season following a very successful 25-9 record from a season ago. The Golden Eagles lost four players averaging a combined 42 ppg so not much was expected but new head coach Donnie Tyndall, who came over from Morehead St., has done a remarkable job so far. They are 16-4 overall including a perfect 5-0 in C-USA which is a half-game better than 4-0 Memphis. Southern Mississippi is riding a nine-game winning streak including a 56-point pulverizing of Marshall in its most recent game on Wednesday. They have yet to be tested on the road however in conference action as the two wins on the highway were at SMU and Rice. Tulsa will provide that challenge as the Golden Hurricane are 12-8 overall including a 4-2 record in C-USA. They are coming off a solid win at Houston which made up for a disappointing loss at Tulane last Saturday. Tulsa has won five straight games at home and is 7-1 overall at the Reynolds Center with the only loss coming against Stephen F. Austin back in November and while that looks like a horrible loss, the Lumberjacks are 16-1 on the season including a win at Oklahoma. Tulsa has won 96 of its last 111 home games at the Reynolds Center so it has had a significant home court edge and it needs to keep that going if it plans on contending this season. Overall, Tulsa has covered four straight while Southern Mississippi is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games after scoring more than 90 points in its previous game.

Before discounting under-the-radar Riverside, note that the Highlanders have been playing representative hoops the past few weeks. Efforts include taking favored Fullerton and Long Beach to the wire, beating a capable UC Irvine, and then pushing a hot Pacific team into the final minute at Stockton on Thursday night. The emergence of 6-10 Aussie newcomer Chris Patton (19.7 ppg last three outings) has been a big plus for HC Jim Woolridge's side. Moreover, it's hard hard to ignore the curious recent pointspread success of the road team (now 6-0 vs. number last six after Thursday’s game vs. Cal State Fullerton) in games featuring Kimberly Guilfoyle's alma mater UC Davis. The Aggies, a loser vs. Fullerton, will have a hard time pulling away from scrappy UCR at The Pavilion.

After opening the season 21-14, the ‘Linsanity’ has worn off and the Rockets have fallen on ‘Harden’ times as they’ve dropped eight of nine heading into Friday night’s contest in New Orleans. However, nothing stops the bleeding like hosting a foe that you’ve beaten like a drum over the years and Houston has done just that to the Nets, posting an 11-0 SU and a 9-1-1 ATS mark in this series since 2006. This trip to the Toyota Center also marks Brooklyn’s fourth road game in six days – and second in as many nights – bringing its 1-6 ATS log away without rest into play. Making matters worse for P.J.’s pups is the fact that last night’s encounter was in Memphis and the Nets have sung the blues after facing the Grizzlies, dropping their last eight in SU fashion. Thus, Houston should have no problem landing yet another double-digit victory in Space City. We recommend a 1-unit play on Houston.

New York vs. Philadelphia
Pick: PhiladelphiaFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
New York is 26-14 SU and 21-18-1 ATS; it's coming off an 89-86 win at Boston as a 1 point favorite on the 24th. Carmelo Anthony had 28 points in the defensive battle. Note though that New York is just 15-16 ATS this year when playing the role of favorite.

Philadelphia is 17-25 SU and 18-24 ATS; it's coming off a 110-102 loss at Milwaukee on the 22nd as a 6.5 point underdog.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Evan Turner led the way with 23 points in the setback.

While he had an "off" day vs. the Bucks with just nine points, a bright spot for the 76ers continues to be the play of Jrue Holiday who is averaging a team high 19 points and nine assists.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Center Spencer Hawes will be called upon here to have another big effort after scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 boards vs. Milwaukee.

Note that Philadelphia is in fact 6-5 ATS this year vs. division opponents.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
With a tough game vs. the Hawks tomorrow night, I believe New York gets caught "looking ahead" to that contest. When you throw in the "double revenge factor" from back to back losses that Philadelphia suffered in November in this series, you should definitely consider a second look at the home side in this one!

The Clippers are struggling right now and have lost two straight with Chris Paul out of the lineup. However, that has only served to give us some value in tonight's line, especially when you see that Portland is coming off a 20 point win over the Indiana Pacers.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
LA has already played once up in Portland this year and even though it was back on 11/8, the Clippers won by 13 points in convincing fashion. I see them going up and pulling out another road win in Portland here tonight.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
A solid situation supports our play that says to fade any team revenging a home loss by double digits when they are off a double digit home win. Fading these teams would have gone 224-145 (60.7%) ATS since 1996 due to the value it brings. I'll play that system here and take the small number.

The Los Angeles Clippers are finally coming back down to reality. They are also finally starting to show that they miss having Chris Paul at full strength. Paul remains out as the Clippers travel to face the Portland Trail Blazers Saturday night. LA comes in riding a three-game losing streak, which includes a loss at lowly Phoenix on Thursday. The Blazers got back on track with a dominant 100-80 win over Indiana their last time out on Wednesday. They are well-rested and ready to go heading into this showdown with the reeling Clippers. The Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Blazers are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

The Sacramento Kings are a very tired team right now. They will be playing the second of a back-to-back after falling 95-105 at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night. They will also be playing their 6th game in 9 days.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
I look for the Denver Nuggets to run the Kings out of the building tonight. Denver is 16-3 at home this season where it is scoring a whopping 107.1 points/game. Sacramento is just 4-16 on the road this season. It is scoring a mere 92.5 points/game away from home.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Denver has owned Sacramento in recent meetings. The Nuggets are 6-0 SU & 4-1-1 ATS in their last six meetings with the Kings. Four of those six victories have come by 14 points or more.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Kings are 10-26-1 ATS in their last 37 vs. Western Conference opponents. Sacramento is 1-9-1 ATS in its last 11 games overall. The Kings are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Nuggets are 55-26-1 ATS in their last 82 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. Bet the Nuggets Saturday.

The Warriors played last night and were man handled by the Chicago Bulls . The Warriors are strong bounce back contenders as is evident by a 6-3 SU count on the second night of back-to-back sets. Milwaukee does pose some matchup problems on the inside for Golden State, but the Warriors overall athleticism should vault them to a straight up victory here in a hostile environment! Final notes & Key Trends: Warriors are 26-12-1 ATS in their last 39 road games. Bucks also played last night, but are only 3-9 ATS on no rest! Warriors are 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Milwaukee.

Towson lost at home to George Mason in their last game and should bounce back vs. the Tribe, who are not deep. W&M had only 4 players score in a recent game. Tim Rusthoven and Bradon Britt are decent players but they just don't have enough athletes and will need to make many 3's to win.

Northwestern at Nebraska
Pick: Nebraska

"We played with zero pride." That was a Tweet direct from Nebraska head coach Tim Miles following his team's lethargic effort in a loss to Illinois this past Tuesday. If Miles was willing to share that assessment with the masses via social networking, it's safe to say his team will have gotten the message as well. I therefore expect a focused performance at home today as Northwestern visits Lincoln. The scheduling dynamics for the Wildcats are not the best. They're off several games against their traditional Big 10 opponents, and Northwestern scored a stunning upset of Minnesota last time out. This therefore looms as a potential dead spot for the Wildcats. Nebraska is not good at all, but if they're going to notch another league victory, this looks like the right spot. I'll grab the small number and call for Nebraska to slip past Northwestern today.

Indiana Pacers at Utah Jazz
Pick: Indiana Pacers

Indiana plays tough defense, tops in the NBA in points allowed, which will help in this game against the young, athletic Jazz. Indiana is 3-2 SU/ATS the last 5 games despite playing all but one on the road, including a win at Memphis as a dog. The Pacers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Western Conference and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest. While Indiana is rested, Utah is not, playing last night at the LA Lakers. The Jazz are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games playing on no days rest, making this a great situational spot for the visitors. Play the Pacers!
