Georgetown vs. Villanova
Play: Georgetown +4.5

Georgetown is 15-5 and 4-4 in the Big East, but are on a current three game winning steak two of which came on the road as they travel to Villanova. Villanova is the 7th team in the country with a 17-3 overall record and 5-2 in Big East Conference play. Villanova has lost two of three all of which were on the road and they haven't lost at home this year. Look for Georgetown to stay hot and give Nova their first home loss of the year. Play Georgetown

Bradley vs. Wichita State
Play: Under 139.5

Looks to me that the oddsmaker has inflated this Total. These teams Trend to the Over recently, but it's too much of an adjustment. The average Total for Bradely's last 5 away games was 128, avg total for Wichita st last 5 Home games 131. Wichita st defends the whole court, doesn't give up easy baskets,Plays 10 Players and struggles to score at times on offense. Bradely is bad offensively and will be lucky to reach 60 points Today.

B.Y.U. vs. New Mexico
Play: B.Y.U. -3.5

After beating SDST Wednesday night, BYU looks like they would set up perfect for a letdown Today to some. However, I feel BYU being an older more mature team that lost to New Mexico twice last Year will come into the Pit ready to play. Make no mistake about it BYU has veteran talented Players and is the better team. While NM has some talent their Young. BYU is the better team and will get the Win ! Might consider a money line Play if the price is right.

CS Fullerton vs. Long Beach State
Play: CS-Fullerton +11.5

Long Beach State will be seeking a measure of revenge against Fullerton on Saturday night as they recently suffered a two-point loss at the hands of the Titans. In that contest CS took full advantage of LBS’s defensive weaknesses with all Fullerton starters scoring in double-digits in the win. As the season has progressed, CS has developed a balanced offensive attack one in which the 49ers should have trouble matching up against once again in this contest. The Titans have won six of the last seven meetings between these two squads and the fact that they continue to get solid play from all of their starters makes this an easy call especially catching double-digits from the lines-makers in this particular situation. A check of the database supports our recommendation on the Titans with a league-wide system that tells us to Play AGAINST CBB home favorites of 10 or more points after going over the total by 30 or more points in their last three games, with a winning percentage of between 45-55 percent on the season. This system has posted a record of 16-4 ATS the last three seasons. CS is 12-2 ATS off a close road loss by 3 points or less since 1997. CS is 22-8 ATS in road games after a loss by 6 points or less since 1997. CS is 9-0 ATS in road games after having won two of their last three games over the last 2 seasons. LBS is 0-11 ATS in home games after three straight games allowing a shooting pct. of 47 percent or higher since 1997. Take the generous points here, as revenge will not be enough to help the 49ers defeat the Titans on Saturday night. Cajun Sports Wire WON their NBA 4* Momentum Factor on Friday night with Charlotte +4.5 over Golden State winning outright 121 to 113 in OT. Cajun Sports NBA Momentum Factor Selections have posted a record of 12-6 ATS this season and their NBA Reverse Momentum Factor Selections have gone 7-1-1 ATS for a total of 19-7-1 ATS on these NBA selections this season! Cajun Sports Basketball Card for Saturday will be available after 12:30PM CST Saturday afternoon.

Georgia vs. Kentucky
Play: Georgia +11.5

UK has been great last few years but one team that always give them trouble is this GEO team. In fact the early beat down to start conference play was just a month ago. Road team has dominated ATS in this head to head series winning 6 of last 8 games. This young UK team doesn't rebound or defend enough to cover this big number.

UCLA vs. Arizona State
Play: UCLA -2

UCLA has won 16 of 18 vs teams with a losing record. They are 5-1 after allowing 80 or more, 29-7 vs teams who score less than 65 points per game and 10-4 ats as a road favorite of 3 or less. Today they take on an Arizona St team that is 7-16 as a home dog of 3 or less and 3-8 vs winning teams. In conference play they have struggled losing 7 of 8 thus far. As an underdog they have lost 6 of 7. Look for UCLA to get the win and cover in this Pac 10 affair.

1 Unit on NC State +10.5

Getting swept in the season series last year figures to be all the motivation NC State needs to take the Heels right down to the wire Saturday. And fortunately for us, a disappointing result in its last game at Clemson assures us that the Wolfpack will be extremely focused. Consider that NC State is 24-9 ATS in its last 33 games following an embarrassing road loss in which it was held to fewer than 60 points. The Pack is actually bouncing back to win by an average score of 72.7 to 69.4 in this situation. The time to fade this overvalued UNC squad is now. After all, the Tar Heels are 0-7 ATS after 2 or more consecutive wins this season. UNC is also just 2-11 ATS in home games when playing against a good team (Win Pct. 60% to 80%) over the last 3 seasons. We'll take the points.

1 Unit on Northwestern +11.5

The Buckeyes are coming off a big win over Purdue, but we can’t overlook the fact that 5 of their last 7 Big Ten wins have come by 5 points or less. Off back-to-back defeats, the Wildcats will be focused and ready to go after the target on Ohio State’s back. Consider that plays on underdogs of 10 or more points after 2 or more consecutive losses, provided they are up against an opponent that has rattled off 9 or more consecutive wins, are 62-33 ATS the last 5 seasons. The Wildcats are an extremely dangerous team on their home floor, where they have covered the spread in 11 of their last 14. Plus, they are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games as an underdog of 7.0-12.5 points. As you might expect, odds makers have overvalued the top team in the nation here because of the public betting attention a No. 1 demands. We'll take the points.

1 Unit on Oklahoma State -2

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog. The Cowboys are 37-12-2 ATS in their last 51 games as a favorite, 42-16-2 ATS in their last 60 games as a favorite of 6.5 points or less and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a road favorite. Off back-to-back defeats, expect the Cowboys to bounce back strong against this inferior Texas Tech squad. Lay the points.

Rockets at Spurs
Pick: Spurs

A rivalry game deep in the heart of Texas! And the Rockets are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning percentage above .600. Making matters worse is that the Spurs have a winning percentage this season better than anyone. The Spurs are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall and the crowd will help them stick it to a state rival. Play the Spurs!

Colorado +8

This is an important statement game for Colorado after losing to Kansas at home. On the home side, we know that Baylor's offense can sputter at times since they lack strong point guard play. Too many points in a game that should go down to the wire.

Ohio St. -11

Even with Shurna, this a colossal mismatch of frontcourts. After seeing how Wisconsin rolled up the Wildcats, you have to wonder how ugly this could get without Shurna full healthy and how fast it could get there. Who is even going to be able to pretend to guard Sullinger in this game?

We know NW can beat up on the lower tier teams in the B10 - particularly at home. Against the top tier teams they hit a wall and Shurna's injury pushes this game from a single to a double play. While double digit road favorites aren't the formula for long term success, we've been able to pick our spots and find the mismatches earlier this week with Ohio and Duquesne and I believe we have another one here.

"We appreciate it," shooting guard William Buford said of the Buckeyes' perfect record. "If we didn't appreciate it, I think we would stop working as hard as we are right now. We'd just be complacent. But we're not doing that."

Might be hip to take the big home dog here, but no thanks - I don't think OSU does anything but make another statement at NW's expense. If Shura sits out, this is 20+ win for OSU.

Tenn.-Martin +17.5

Murray State's run last year and their returning players had them as mid-major darlings on many expert's preseason predictions. Yet the Racers have not been as dominant so far this year. The Skyhawks are much improved and while their record at the end of the year isn't going to show a huge improvement, they've been beating the number up so far this year as they are 10-4 ATS while the Racers are 5-9. Too many points here for a game that might not see either team hit 75.

San Francisco -1

The Dons are the surprise team of the season in the WCC and maybe one of the most surprising in the country. We back them here against a Pepperdine team that was just torched by Santa Clara. Keep an eye on Cody Doolin in this game - he matches up well with the Waves backcourt.

The Dons just beat the LMU Lions by a point in a game they were trailing in early on. The Waves are inferior to the Lions and the Dons are young enough and deep enough to have plenty of gas in the tank to bring this one home.

Pacers vs. Bulls

Both teams played last night, and while playing without rest hasn't appreciably impacted the Bull pointspread record, Indiana is just (1-5) on the road in 2nd night of back-to-back games. Defensively-intense Chicago has covered (7) of last (10) and should hold most of the matchup edges against Pacer side that's yielded (104) ppg in its last (10) games through Jan. 27. Bulls held Indiana to just (79.5) ppg in winning and covering first two meetings this season, and have gotten the money in (6) of last (7) against Indy. Tom Thibodeau's Chicago Bulls get the Big Man's call as Saturday's NBA complimentary selection. Take Chicago Bulls in the "Madhouse on Madison"

Marc Lawrence

West Virginia at Cincinnati
Prediction: Cincinnati

Much like Tennessee, West Virginia is finding it difficult to repeat last year’s success. Finishing at 31-7 after a Final Four setback to eventual champion Duke, the Mounties have already lost five games this season – including a demoralizing 75-71 defeat by in-state rival Marshall. Now head coach Bob Huggins tries to pick up the pieces by returning to southwest Ohio to square off with Cincinnati, the school where he coached for sixteen seasons before migrating to Morgantown. Unfortunately for Huggie Bear, our tireless database has cranked out a slew of numbers that all favor the hosts. Not only is Cincy a perfect 13-0 SU at Fifth Third Arena this year, they also owe the stump-jumpers for being TKO’d in last season’s Big East tourney – and the Bearcats are 4-0 SU and ATS in that role when they own a win percentage of .750 or greater. They’ve certainly controlled this series of late: West Virginia is 0-4 ATS the last four meetings, 0-3 ATS on this court and 0-2 ATS when Cincinnati is looking to extract a little revenge. A victory here would boost the Bearcats’ league record to 6-3 midway through one of the most hotly-contested conference races in the land – not bad for a team that was picked to finish 12th in the Big East by preseason pundits. But we’re also after the pointspread cover and with WVU only 1-5 ATS this season taking on a foe off a SU win, our chances look good. Huggins gets home-schooled by former UC assistant Mick Cronin and the league’s top defense. We recommend a 1-unit play on Cincinnati.
