When these teams battled each other last, the Mavericks would come away with the 68-47 win back on December 29th, 2012. But that was then, and this is now. And now is senior night in New Mexico State. I believe the home side turns up the heat as it prepares for a tournament run, builds off its last victory, and uses the earlier loss to UT Arlington as the motivation to pull away down the stretch for the comfortable ATS cover!

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
We expect an up and down game with little defensive effort which will lead to a high-scoring game between the Bobcats and Wizards on Saturday night.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Charlotte is not playing any defense lately. The Bobcats have allowed 116 points or more in three of their last four games. Going back a bit further, Charlotte has allowed 101 points or more in 8 of their last 11 games. The Bobcats have played no defense on the road all season long; they are allowing 104 points per game on 47.5% shooting from the field and 38.4% shooting from three-point land. Charlotte played at home last night and they allowed 116 points to Oklahoma City. Tonight will be their third game in four nights and they are not going to start playing defense all of a sudden.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Washington also played last night and they lost 95-78 at Brooklyn. The Wizards offense has been really struggling lately; they’ve scored 95 points or less in six consecutive games. But they are still playing at a fast pace and took 90 shots last night but those shots just didn’t go in. Washington will get their offense in gear tonight against the woeful Charlotte defense. In the last game against Charlotte, the Wizards took 93 shots and scored 106 points despite shooting only 36.6% from the field and 22.2% from three-point land. We expect an up and down game with little defensive effort which will lead to a high-scoring game between the Bobcats and Wizards on Saturday night.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Dallas is 12-9-2 this year, including 7-5-1 on the road. The Stars have won two in a row. Most recently Dallas won 5-2 in LA on Thursday. It's true that the Stars are playing a lot better on the power-play, but now they face a Coyotes team which has killed over 86 percent (32 of 37) of penalties over the last four weeks. Phoenix is 11-10-3 overall, and 8-5-1 at home. After Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Blues, the 'Yotes sit a point back of Dallas. These teams have played each other three times this season already, with Dallas coming on top in two. The Stars won 4-3 at home on January 19th. They won by the identical score in Dallas on February 1st, before the Coyotes won 2-0 in Phoenix the following night. I firmly believe that this trend of home ice dominance continues, and the home side looks worth the price to me.

A pair of ACC rivals meet and rivalry games can mean plenty of tough defense. North Carolina prefers an uptempo attack, while Duke can play any style with a defense that is 5th in the ACC in scoring and second in three-point shooting D. That defense steps up when they play good teams: The under is 7-2 in the Blue Devils last 9 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. North Carolina has been overvalued by oddsmaker with totals of late, on a 5-0 run under the total. The under is 7-2 in the Tar Heels last 9 vs. a team with a winning record and when these rivals meet there is more defense than you might expect: The under is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings, including 4-1 under in the last 5 meetings in North Carolina. Play Duke/North Carolina under the total.

Drexel is 3-9 vs winning teams and has failed to cover 10 of 12 after allowing 60 or less. In games with 5 or 6 days rest they have failed to cover 23 of 32. After its midweek loss to a Marshall side that USM had earlier beaten by 56 points, the only chance for the Golden Eagles to stay on the periphery of the NCAA bubble discussion is with a deep run in next week’s C-USA Tourney and a victory in this regular-season finale vs. a UCF side that scored a narrow 2–point win at Orlando on Feb. 6.USM is still seething about that 60-58 loss after hitting just one FG attempt in the last 10 minutes of action. But note that the Golden Eagles have had little trouble with C-USA foes (save table-topping Memphis) at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg. With a postseason ban, Knights’ HC Donnie Jones has been having trouble keeping his troops focused down the stretch, reflected in a 3-4 SU mark the last seven for UCF. On Senior Night in Hattiesburg, the price looks fair enoguh on USM.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Yes, we know this sets up like a typical ‘two teams headed in opposite directions’ matchup – Georgetown is currently on a monster 11-1 SU and 9-2-1 ATS roll while Syracuse limps into the Verizon Center with a 1-3 SUATS skein in tow – but there’s nothing typical about the ferocity of this Big East rivalry. The Orange’s recent woes began two weeks ago when the Hoyas went into the Carrier Dome and pulled the rug out from under Boeheim’s boys, winning SU as 8-point dogs. Now it’s time for the tables to turn. Nothing puts a team in a better frame of mind for its upcoming conference tourney than extracting a large measure of revenge, and Jimmy B has excelled in today’s role. When made the underdog versus Georgetown, the ‘Cuse have cashed in five of the previous six meetings. And when revenge enters the picture, the Orange have regularly stifled the Hoyas, posting an outstanding 9-2 SU and 8-2-1 ATS series mark when looking to get even. John Thompson’s troops have fared poorly of late in Last Home Game matchups with quality foes, going 2-4 SU and 1-5 ATS versus .711 or greater opposition. And if you need more, the clincher comes from our powerful database: the Hoyas are a dismal 6-16 SU and 5-16-1 ATS versus .680 or better conference foes with same-season revenge. Be sure to tune in for this one – with Syracuse heading for the ACC next season and G’town setting up shop in the soon-to-be announced ‘Catholic League,’ we could be witnessing the final chapter in one of college basketball’s most intense rivalries in this ‘7-degrees of separation’ special. We recommend a 1-unit play on Syracuse.

Montreal vs. Tampa BayFREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Pick: OverFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Tampa Bay Lightning haven't had any trouble scoring goals this season, but keeping pucks out of their own net has been an issue all year long. The Lightning are hosting the Habs on Saturday night, and Montreal had been very successful keeping pucks out of their net, until recently.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Here are my keys to the game:
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
1: Goaltending - Poor goaltending has been the Achilles heel for the Lightning all year, and it doesn't seem to matter who they put between the pipes, neither netminder has been getting the job done. The Lightning will turn to Cedrick Dejardins in this game, making his season debut after being called up from the AHL. Carey Price has had an excellent season overall, however he has really struggled in recent starts, allowing 14 goals over his last three, losing two of the three. Montreal's backup netminder Peter Budaj has been average at best, allowing three or more goals in three of his last five starts.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
2: Special Teams - Both teams have an excellent power-play, with each club ranking in the top 10 in the NHL with the man-advantage. Neither club enjoys as much success killing penalties, with each team having a lower ranking when it comes to the penalty kill.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
3: X-Factor - Steven Stamkos leads the NHL with 18 goals so far this season, and he's four points back of Sidney Crosby for the lead in points. The 23 year old is a difference maker on most nights, and I expect to see him light it up tonight, in a big game for his Lightning.

FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
With the Long Beach win at Cal Davis, the Niners clinched the Big West crown (as predicted in December), with a 14-3 SU mark. This is a far bigger game for Pacific, who has surpassed expectations with record of 19-12 SU, 12-5 SU in Big West play. Much of it may have had to do with the fact this is the 25th and final year for Pacific HC Bob Thomason who has had the Tigers in contention for Big West superiority in most of those seasons. This year he has had the benefit of five RS who have done no worse than play to expectations. It will be a highly emotional setting in this LHG at the Spanos Center, where the Tigers play their final Big West game before their move to the WCC next season. That emotion will be aided by revenge for 67-63 earlier loss to Long Beach, the knowledge they can clinch the #2 seed in Big West CCT, and the confidence that they are a perfect 8-0SU against league opponents on this court this season. With so much working for the home team here, it's hard to ignore the high probability of ATS victory.

The Rhode Island Rams should not be an underdog at home Saturday against the UMass Minutemen. The betting public is going to see the 18-10 record by UMass, and the 8-20 mark of Rhode Island and almost automatically bet the Minutemen. Not so fast Joe Public.

This is an excellent spot to back the Rams. It will be Senior Day for them, which means that two of their top three scorers in Nikola Malesevic (10.3 PPG) and Andre Malone (10.0) will be playing in their final home game. Look for the entire team to rally and get one final home win for these seniors.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
UMass is in a huge letdown spot here. It saw its chances of making the NCAA Tournament evaporate with a 62-73 home loss to Butler on Thursday just two nights ago. With its Big Dance hopes crushed, look for the Minutemen to suffer a hangover and to not even show up for this game against the Rams today.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Minutemen are 0-7 ATS in road games when playing against a team with a losing record over the last 2 seasons. UMass is 0-6 ATS in road games when playing against a bad team (Win Pct. 20% to 40%) over the last 3 seasons. The home team has won six of the last seven meetings in this series. Bet Rhode Island Saturday.

The Volunteers should not be listed as an underdog at home against Missouri. Tennessee comes in having won 7 of their last 8. They are a dominant 12-3 at home this season and have been crushing teams on their home floor of late. Over their last three home games they have beat Kentucky by 30, LSU by 10 and Florida by 6.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Missouri is a good team and are riding a three-game winning streak, but two of those wins came at home where they are extremely tough to beat and the other was a road game against a pretty poor South Carolina team. Missouri's only other road win inside the SEC was at Mississippi State, who is 3-14 inside the conference.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Add in the extra motivation that will go into this game for Tennessee with it being their final home game of the regular season and you can see why the wrong team is favored. The Volunteers are a ridiculous 16-4 ATS in their last 20 games as a home underdog of 3-points or less and are 9-2 ATS as an underdog this season!

This young Florida State squad is finally coming together. The Seminoles just upset Virginia last time out to improve to 3-0 in their last three and 5-2 in their last seven at home. NC State has won three in a row and six of seven, but it has struggled on the road. The Wolfpack are just 2-5 in their last seven road games. Florida State will be lacking no motivation here because it was hammered 84-66 in the first meeting. Consider that the Noles are on a rock solid 31-16 ATS run when out for revenge for a same-season loss to an opponent. They are also on a terrific 22-10 ATS run as a home underdog or pickem. Take the points.
