Tony George

Toronto Raptors vs. Denver Nuggets
Play: Denver -8

In the last 4 games, Denver has won all four by a total of 87 ppg combined or over 22 ppg on the average. Well rested and at home, where the Nuggets are 10-3 ATS their last 13 games, I have no doubt about the frontcourt of Denver dominating this game. The backcourt for Denver needs to step up, as their scoring output is less than stellar, and with the Raptors allowing 105 ppg, they are a good opponent to get healthy with.Lay the wood on Denver.

Tom Freese

Los Angeles Clippers vs. New Orleans Hornets
Play: Under 194

New Orleans is 16-5 UNDER their last 21 home games and they are 18-8 UNDER when their opponent scored more than 100 points in their last game. The Hornets are 6-2 UNDER after allowing 100 or more points in their last game and they are 5-1 UNDER with two days of rest. The Clippers are 12-5 UNDER their last 17 games and they are 8-3 UNDER their last 11 games as underdogs. Los Angeles is 13-5 UNDER their last 18 Tuesday games and they are 11-5 UNDER vs. Western Conference teams. PLAY ON 'UNDER'

Kyle Hunter

Arkansas LR vs. Tulsa
Play: Over 121½

The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes are a team that can score the basketball early and often, so getting this low of a number looks like a nice value. Arkansas Little Rock is likely to try to slow it down at first, but I expect Tulsa to get way ahead and then Little Rock will probably stop with the stalling of the game. This one probably goes to around 130, so over 121.5 is the play here.

Jimmy the Moose

Phoenix Suns at Houston Rockets

The Suns are 9-2 SU on the season and 6-5 ATS after dropping their last 2 games at the window. Offensively the Suns have been on fire averaging 110.4 PPG this season, 107.7 PPG on the road. The Suns are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS loss. In their last 4 games played with 1-day of rest between action Phoenix is 4-0 ATS. Steve Nash looks like the player he was a few years ago and this team plays wide open making it hard for the opposition to keep up.

The Rockets are 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS to start the season and this is being done without Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming. The addition of Ariza has been very good for the Rockets. Houston is averaging 105.5 PPG at home this season and they'll try and keep up with the Rockets but over the last few season's they have struggled when playing the Suns.

Phoenix is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 trips to Houston. The Rockets are 5-16 ATS in the last 21 meetings overall between the clubs. The Rockets will keep it close for the most part but look for the Suns to win it late and cover the line.

Play on the Phoenix Suns +

1 Unit on Miami Heat -5

No question the Thunder are improved, but after a poor performance against the lowly Nets and a couple days to rest and prepare, I expect the Heat to take care of business at home tonight. The Heat are an impressive 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 5.0-10.5 points and their strong defense, allowing only 90.1 ppg, will give the Thunder fits in this one. Lay the number on the Heat for 1 Unit.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Montreal Canadiens
Play: Carolina Hurricanes

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Carolina as they face Montreal set to start at 7:30 EST. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 32-13 making 25.6 units since 2004. Play against any team against the money line after allowing 2 goals or less in 3 straight games facing an opponent after playing 3 straight games where 7 or more total goals were scored. Montreal is just 9-25 against the money line (-21.8 Units) against poor passing teams averaging 4 or less assists per game over the last 2 seasons. Two below average teams with below average offenses. Carolina ranks dead last in scoring average, but have done far better over the past 3 games with line changes. Chemistry appears to have improved dramatically on the offensive side of things for Carolina and I like the matchups they have tonight in Montreal as well. Take Carolina.

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Play: Cleveland Cavaliers -14.5

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Cleveland as they host the Warriors set to start at 7:00 EST. AiS shows a 75% probability that Cleveland will win this game by 15 or more points. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 30-9 ATS for 77% winners since 1996. Play on home favorites of 10 or more points after leading their last 3 games by 5+ points at the half facing an opponent after a loss by 6 points or less. Cleveland has a huge rebounding edge in this game. The AiS shows an 88% probability that Cleveland will have 10 or more rebounds in this game. Note that Cleveland is a solid 18-5 ATS (+12.5 Units) when they grab 10+ more rebounds than their opponents in a game over the last 2 seasons. Take the Cavs in a blowout.

LARRY NESS

Louisiana-Monroe @ Oklahoma
PICK: Oklahoma -21.5

The Sooners lost the nation's top player from a year ago, as Blake Griffin was the No. 1 pick in the last NBA draft, going to the "black hole" known as the LA Clippers (will he ever be heard from again?). Jeff Capel began his fourth season at Norman with an easy 95-71 victory of Mount St Mary's over the weekend. Capel's team shouldn't have much more trouble tonight in their second game of the young season, as UL-Monroe (tonight's opponent) opened its 2009-10 season by getting 'whacked' at LSU this past Friday, 82-62. The Warhawks did even their record at 1-1 on Sunday, beating Alcorn St 82-66 but come on. The Warhawks are led by seniors by seniors Tony Hooper and Malcolm Thomas. Hooper is a combo guard who was granted a fifth year of eligibility after missing most of the 2008-09 season. He's averaging 14.5 points in the first two games, including an 18-point effort in the win over Alcorn State. The 6-6 Thomas averaged 12.8 PPG and 4.8 RPG last year but after two games, it's juniors Tommie Sykes (11.5) and Lawrence Gilbert (11.0) who have joined Hooper in averaging double digits. Getting back to the Sooners, freshman guard Steven Pledger scored a game-high 21 points in his debut in Norman against Mount St Mary's. Fellow freshman, the 6-9 almost 300-pound "Tiny" Gallon had 18 points and added 15 rebounds. Sophomore guard Willie Warren (14.6 PPG last year) picked up right where he left off his freshman season, scoring 15 points and adding 11 assists for his first career double-double. Two more freshman, Andrew Fitzgerald and Tommy Mason-Griffin added 14 and 11 points, respectively. Don't be too concerned for Capel. Oklahoma won 30 games a year ago and could be just as dangerous this year. The Sooners have won 13 straight and 71 of their last 73 non-conference games in the Lloyd Noble Center. A quick check of the record book shows that the Sooners will be going for the school's 1,500th all-time win tonight and it should come without much trouble. A win would also be Capel's 150th win at Norman, which makes it kinda symmetrical. Lay it!
