Detroit vs. Orlando
Pick: Detroit
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
This is a revenge game for Detroit after losing 110-106 to Orlando on Friday. The Pistons though are coming off a 103-83 win over the Celtics on Sunday. Detroit would hold the C's to 4 of 17 from behind the arc.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Pistons also shot a season-high 54.2% from the floor. Greg Monroe led the charge with 20 points and 13 boards.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Already 2-1 ATS this year vs. poor offensive teams that score 91 points or less, note that Detroit is in fact 11-5 ATS in the same position over the last two.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Orlando has gone just 1-6 in its last seven, averaging under 78 PPG, and under 40% shooting from the floor.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Magic lost 81-72 to Atlanta on Monday.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Glen Davis had 11 points and was the only player to score in double figures.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
JJ Redick and Jameer Nelson combined for 10 points.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Already 1-2 ATS this year after scoring 85 points or less, note that Orlando is just 17-22 ATS in the same position over the last two.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
These two teams are moving in opposite directions, and the visitors are looking to atone for last week's lacklustre effort. Consider a second look at Detroit in this one!

Elon VS South Carolina
Pick: Elon
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Elon is very experienced this year, and this is an under the radar team that could make noise in the Southern Conference this season. South Carolina is 3-0, but the Gamecocks are not good and could well end up the worst team in the SEC. Roadies with a real shot to win this. Elon plus the points.

Brooklyn Nets AT Golden State Warriors
Pick: Golden State Warriors
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
A long road trip for Brooklyn continues out West, 3,000 miles from home. The Nets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning record. This is a difficult situational handicapping spot for the Nets, playing the second of a back to back road spot. Uptempo Golden State is rested and loves to run at opponents averaging 98.5 ppg (12th in the NBA). The Warriors are 10-4-2 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning record. And the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Play the Warriors!

Play: Syracuse
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Princeton is just 1-2 on the season, but that lone win was on the road as they head to Syracuse. The Orange are the number six team in the country with a 2-0 record and in their first home win was by 31 points over Wagner. Syracuse is scoring an average of 75 points per game as they host Princeton who is scoring just 58 points per game. Look for Syracuse to have a field day with Princeton as they tame the Tigers to the tune of a 20 point win. Play Syracuse

DAVID BANKS

Los Angeles Clippers +4.5

The points may be worth taking when two hot teams get together on ESPN Wednesday night, as the Los Angeles Clippers (8-2, 8-2 ATS) pay a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder (8-3, 6-4-1 ATS) at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK at 7:30 ET. The Clippers are tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for the best record in the Western Conference thanks to their current six-game winning streak both straight up and ATS, while the defending Western Conference Champion Thunder are on a 7-1 straight up run.

In fact, a case can be made that the Clippers are playing the best basketball in the NBA through 10 games when you consider that they rank second in the league in field goal percentage offensively at 49.2 percent and also second in the NBA in field goal percentage allowed defensively at 41.9 percent, translating to an excellent average winning margin of +8.9 points per game. And it is not as if the Clippers' six-game winning streak has come vs. a bunch of cream puffs either, as they beat the Spurs twice including a win at San Antonio in their last game Monday as well as the Trail Blazers on the road and the Heat, Bulls and Hawks at home. Los Angeles has been extremely well balanced offensively with five players averaging double-digits, led by Jamal Crawford (19.7 points per game), Blake Griffin (17.2) and Chris Paul (16.3), and the Clips also boast the NBA leader in field goal percentage in center DeAndre Jordan at an amazing 68.1 percent (47-for-69).

The Thunder traded away one member of last year's Big Three when they shipped James Harden to the Houston Rockets just a few days before this season started, but apparently that has not affected their play too much. One key reason for that is because the key recipient in that trade, Kevin Martin, is third on the club in scoring at 17.6 points per game while filling Harden's sixth man role off the bench. Naturally, the two leading scorers are the usual suspects, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. It has also helped that defensive specialist Serge Ibaka has been more consistent on the offensive end this year averaging 14.6 points. However, while the Thunder are 8-3, they are only 1-3 vs. teams that are currently over .500 with the lone win coming vs. a 5-4 Golden State team that does not figure to be over .500 by year's end. Also, while these teams have been just about equal offensively with Oklahoma City averaging 101.7 points and the Clippers averaging 101.5, the Clippers are allowing nearly three points per game less defensively at 92.6 points compared to 95.2 Interestingly, Los Angeles is a perfect 3-0 straight up on the road while two of Oklahoma City's three losses have come here at home.

The Clippers are a blistering 12-3 ATS in the last 15 head-to-head meetings in Oklahoma, and they are 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings overall regardless of the venue.

SPORTS WAGERS

CHARLOTTE -2 -105 over Toronto
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Raptors are in the upper half of the league in several defensive categories and they’ve been very good at minimizing turnovers, ranking second in the league at 13.5 per game. Despite a 3-8 record, there are many things to like about Toronto, which is going to provide opportunities down the road but this is not one of them. For starters, the Raps will play their fourth game in five days and tail end of back-to-backs after a difficult loss in Philly last night, where Toronto was leading for the first 42 minutes of the game. That had to take some steam out of them. The Raps have just one road win all season (1-5) and it came in Orlando.

The Bobcats were 7-59 a year ago and have almost matched that already with five wins this year. Despite the vast improvement, Charlotte remains undervalued because the oddsmakers and/or public are not buying it. We are. They’re coming off a solid win over the Bucks, they’ve won four of five with sole loss coming against the 8-2 Grizzlies and they’re 4-2 at home. The ‘Cats are rested, feeling confident and know they have to win games like this to validate their early season success. A largely favorable scheduling spot helps to ensure that happens.

BOSTON +109 over San Antonio
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Celtics are just 6-5 on the year but this is still a quality club that is adjusting to some new personnel and that is going to gain steam as the season progresses. Boston is coming off an embarrassing 20-point loss to the Pistons and a response to that likely comes here.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Spurs have some issues right now that can’t be compensated for overnight. The Spurs were already down one starting small forward before they even walked into the AT&T Center on Monday night. 11 minutes into the game against the Clippers, they lost another one. So depleted were the Spurs that, with the game on the line, they turned to a shooter (Gary Neal) with a sliced finger playing for the first time in nearly a week. With small forwards Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson out with injury, the team has called up James Anderson from the Development League. Should they be favored in Boston? Perhaps, but it doesn’t mean they should win in their current situation.

Golden State Warriors - over Brooklyn NetsFREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
After coming up short in last night's big game with the Lakers, the Nets could be in a tough spot on Wednesday, playing a surging Warriors team. This is the third consecutive road game on the west coast for Brooklyn, playing a third game in four days and while Golden State is also playing a third game in four days being at home and having yesterday off greatly aides the situation. The Warriors are a solid 6-5 on the season with four road wins as this will be just the fifth home game for Golden State on the season. This Warriors team has wins over the Clippers, Hawks, Wolves, and Mavericks so there has been quality in the schedule. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have emerged as potential stars in the league and there have been great contributions from the young players on this team with Festus Ezeli, Harrison Barnes, and Draymond Green all making positive contributions. Barnes had an excellent game in the win over Dallas on Monday and this is a team that still has several proven veterans to balance things out led by Carl Landry, Jarrett Jack, Andris Biedrins, and not forgetting David Lee and his consistent dominance on the boards. The Nets won both meetings between these teams last season but Golden State looks like a team on the rise. The Nets have played a weak early season schedule and while Brooklyn is allowing less than 93 points per game, they are surrendering nearly 46 percent shooting. Golden State plays a faster pace and allows more shots but the Warriors are allowing less than 43 percent shooting. The Warriors should have an edge in rebounding in this situation and Brooklyn may be out of gas in this tough travel spot before the holiday.

Philadelphia 76ers at Cleveland Cavaliers
Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The simulator shows a high probability that the 76ers will win this game by seven or more points. Supporting this graded play is a proven system posting a 48-19 ATS for 72% winners since 2006. Play on road favorites after two consecutive covers as a favorite and is a tired team playing 8 or more games in 14 days. Of the 67 games played, 31 of them or 46%, covered the spread by seven or more points. 76er head coach Collins is a defensive minded leader. This is not surprising given the teams he played for in philadelphia as a pro. The 76ers rank fourth in the NBA allowing just 90.8 PPG and fourth allowing 36.5 points in the paint. Cleveland ranks 20th scoring 95.7 PPG and 18th scoring 40.2 points in the paint. The 76er defense will force Cleveland into perimeter shooting and then use missed shots to score on fast break scoring opportunities. The 76ers rank 11th averaging 15.2 fast break points per game. The 76ers are a vastly better ball handling team. The 76ers rank seventh with a 1.587 assist-to-turnover ratio while Cleveland is a dismal 28th posting a 1.201 assist-to-turnover ratio. The 76ers are the better team period.

We were all set to release the Knicks as a play this morning at -1 but with the game now at 2 1/2 to 3 we had to downgrade it to a free selection. New York is playing terrific ball and although they are playing in the second game of a back to back situation, they had plenty of time to rest regulars yesterday. Dallas got off to a fast start this year playing teams trying to gel, but as of late it's becoming clear that Dallas has serious concerns. They don't match up very well with New York and even at this current number the line looks cheap.

Washington Wizards +10

The Wizards are 0-9 and are being undervalued here because of it. Consider that road underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points that check into a game with 8 consecutive losses or more are 91-49 ATS since 1996. These teams have lost by an average of only 4.4 points in these games. It is also worth noting that this system 9-3 ATS the last three seasons.

The time to fade Atlanta is now. The Hawks have rattled off back-to-back wins but are on a 17-33 ATS slide in games following 2 or more consecutive victories. They have actually lost by an average of 2.3 points in this situation.

The Hawks are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and have especially been a poor investment at home early in the season. They are just 1-11 ATS in their last 12 November home games.

The Wizards are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. Take the points.

NBA FREE PICK: Take the Clippers over the Thunder. According to the latest trends: Clippers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win, 12-3 ATS L15 on the road in series, Dog is 5-1 ATS L6 in series, 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall, 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Northwest and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. Western Conference.

The Clippers have the third-highest scoring team in the NBA, so they don't mind getting out and running against the Thunder. Okc has struggled this year against quality teams, losing to Memphis by 10 at home and Atlanta at home, so they aren't quite as invincible at home. For the Clippers, the addition of Jamal Crawford has really helped their bench. He leads the team averaging 19.7ppg, while Chris Paul adds 16.3ppg and 10apg as one of the top point guards in the game. The Clippers have won six in a row and are the hotter team right now.

Washington at Atlanta
Pick: Washington +10
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
The Washington Wizards are the last team in the league. They’re once again in familiar territory when it comes to finding the win column, as they are 0-9 entering tonight's contest in Atlanta. All that does is prop-up the number here beyond what is reasonable. After all, what gambler wants any part of a team that has failed to win a single game? I guess I'm in the minority because nearly two-thirds of the public has dropped cash on the home-standing Hawks at 0-5 ATS in their last five vs. such teams. Atlanta misses Joe Johnson who was not only their leading scorer a year ago but a stat stuffer, contributing in many ways. The Hawks have been in the 80s in five of their last seven games, and I don't see their pedal going to the medal against the 0-9 Wizards. Washington has lost six games by 7 points or less, and are 6-2 ATS on the road. They’re not getting blown out in games. The Hawks are disinterested at home vs. a team with a losing road record, at 0-5 ATS in their last five. Also, under head coach Larry Drew, the Hawks are 17-33 ATS after back-to-back wins. Take the points and play on Washington.

John Ryan

Miami (Ohio) at William & Mary
Prediction: Miami (Ohio)

The simulator shows a high probability that Miami will lose this game by four or fewer points. Supporting this graded play is a proven system posting a 47-15 ATS mark for 76% winners since 2006. Play against home teams as a favorite or pick that is a solid offensive team scoring between 74 and 78 PPG) and is now facing a struggling offensive team scoring <=63 PPG and after a game scoring 80 points or more. W&M may be off to a perfect 3-0 start, but with all due respect to their opponents they have not faced a true test on the court. In their last game they defeated High Point 83-61. Moreover, the level of competition has led lines makers to not even post a line for their first three games. Contrasting this padded schedule, Miami has played at NC State and at Louisville getting slammed in both and not covering the dog spread. However, just the experience the team has gained by playing against those two elite programs will make them a better basketball team. As coaches love to say, ?You only get better playing against better competition? and this will be a major factor tonight. Miami head coach Cooper is a solid 13-4 ATS in road games after scoring 30 points or less in the first half in 2 straight games in all games he has coached since 1997. Take Miami (Ohio).
